Actually I am a current flight student on Fit Aviation as well as an FIT student. I got my private here and took my instrument checkride, and passed on this month. Definitely I love how it goes. Flight programs, 141 flight school, college classes, and everything else is good. Proud to be here, good to be an aviator on here. Thanks for your clip, hope to see you on flightline!

I am majoring in Aviation Management with Flight, however, you can add flight to any degree at Florida Tech!

sounds like you certainly did your research I will tell others your age to look into it...I went from Boston in 1993 to Georgia Tech and you forgot a great reason I bet we both had no more shoveling show and you got beaches as a bonus......I choose GT cause computer engineering was a new thing back then and they graduated more electrical engineers than anyone...I didn't become a pilot till I twice your age

I think Auburn is a great program. Many of the schools offer top of the line flight training. I’m not too familiar with Auburn, but what I’ve heard is good. I would recommend looking into specifics on the college and making a list of pros and cons to compare to YOUR list of what you’re looking for in a university! Hope this helps.

The current staffing decides whether you fly the first week or not of any school. The school you choose may change when you get there. I’m at UND, it’s a darn good school.

Awesome that you want to get into flying! I’d recommend looking at organizations like EAA, AOPA, and Young Aviators that provide scholarships for flight training. They’re also local ones so ask around and make sure to build that network. Best of luck!

Appreciate this video a lot. I’m getting out of the military and was considering this as my top school. Would you recommend getting a ppl beforehand or just getting while at FIT? In terms of cost and time. As well as overall experience.

Thank you for your service! I’d definitely say get your PPL before you go. It will save you money and let you really see if you want to be a pilot before you invest a large amount of money.
