Graduated college and I’m finally enlisting at 24! I’ve been wanting to join since high school but I wanted to get my degree over with first!
@AirmanNick4 жыл бұрын
Awesome you going down the enlisted path or officer?
@iEatMunsters4 жыл бұрын
Airman Nick enlisting for now, I want to get out of my hometown and go for another degree or a masters degree. Hopefully the enlisted route isn’t as terrible as people make it seem like In other branches.

Excellent story man! Congrats for thinking outside the box and taking action. I enlisted for 4 years in the Air Force, now trying to join the AF Reserve or Air National Guard after a 13 years break. Best of luck!

I have really started looking into military after covid closed up everything up but can’t decide on a branch and the parents aren’t the biggest fans, I decided I’d give college a try but it’s just not fun with all the restrictions and I hate school to begin with so I’m strongly considering changing it up and leaving college to go military
@AirmanNick4 жыл бұрын
Your parents will come around too it, If you were to join the military you could hustle and knock out college on the side and based on whatever job you are assaigned you can receive college credits in training for it to get you started.
@phxmaster96844 жыл бұрын
@@AirmanNick yeah doesn’t the Air Force give you an associates degree for your training through CC of the Air Force?

@@AirmanNick That is what has intrigued me to lean Air Force (that and Luke AFB is near my home here in Arizona and I've visited it a few times as a child)

I am 31 and went to talk to my recruiter at 29. I need to still lose a bit of weight (have been so far and am almost to my goal) and get more physically fit.

I just turned 21 and plan on enlisting for all the reasons you stated. This is only the 2nd video I've watched of yours but of everything I've heard the thing I'm most scared of is having to pee while people stare at me😂😂

I've thought about joining the military. thought of going army since my buddies went army. parents arnt supportive of me going. my mom wants me to go to AF. I'm kinda in the same situation with being in a small town. friends are pretty much all gone or getting married, I've finish high school in 2016. finished trade school in 2018 and been jumping job to job since 2019-20 and every time i think about going to a recruiter i get anxiety from the fact of not going cause of family

That’s a tough situation at the end of the day just gotta do what you think is gonna be a better future for you, I went Air Force because I knew I would get my bachelors degree in here, save money and have a great career when I got out based on the job I chose when enlisting. If you really wanna join and think it’s best for you talk to your fam and see what they have to say. Give it some big thought because it’s a huge step.

Hey man just came across your channel and I’ve been debating on enlisting! Was there any advice your uncle’s friend who did 20 years gave you? Any tips on how he managed to be in the Air Force for 20 years?
@AirmanNick4 жыл бұрын
Honestly what happened was he knew I was debating on joining the military he brought me down to the base showed me the living conditions and how the day to day Operational Air Force took place and that made me choose the Air Force but all he said about what made him stay in is what any other 20 + year retired vet will say, they had an amazing time met amazing people and traveled the world and just made so many experiences which kept them in. They say it’s a job and everybody needs a job and this one isn’t to bad, my uncles friend only planned on doing 4 years and then fell in love with the military and loves the country.
