My heart goes out to you. It seems obvious to me that you left Islam because its internal inconsistencies point to the fact that it is a man-made attempt to make sense of 'it all'. Not a revealed truth from god. Just like other religions. It's horrific the way apostates are treated. I hope that you are safe and that you are able to have peace of mind and a fulfilling secular life, with your fair share (or more) of joy.

@@mozillafirefay Several years ago, the Louvre Museum Square in the French capital, Paris, witnessed a unique demonstration, on the so-called (International Women's Day), where Arab and Iranian women demonstrated naked demanding freedom, equality and secularism, including women with precedents in the history of nudity. Many questions have been asked about these practices, the most important of which is how effective are they in achieving freedom and equality? Does nudity achieve all kinds of demands? Did not God Almighty command women to cover up and abstain? Didn't he order her to hide from men? Did he not order her not to show her adornment except to her husband? Aziz says in his book, "said O Prophet, tell your wives and daughters and the believing women, ask them from behind a screen to know so do not disturb, and Allah is Forgiving, Most Merciful" He also said, "The rules of women who do not expect Nkaha not them stand to wear their clothes is adorned with an ornament and Astafven is better for them, and Allah is Hearing, Knowing" Almighty Allah women and generosity in the Holy Quran and commanded by the Holy Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, where he said "Treat women kindly". God Almighty, His majesty, His judgment is clear, and He does not change His judgment no matter what. His law is fixed and nothing in His Law changes, even with the difference of time and place. Some people resorted to distorting the interpretations on the topic of women's covering and chastity, as they said that this was not forbidden by God Almighty, and they called for the freedom of women and to appear and go out in front of the public as they wish. " And know that you will be of the highest degree of civility and progress with your chastity and respect, and do not forget the words of God Almighty, “And let them strike their pockets with their wine.” " These commentators threaten the moral security of Islamic and conservative societies when they advocate this false freedom, which will inevitably have dire consequences if this concept is entrenched in the minds of women and future generations. They are a danger to the future of Islam and Muslims, as they may come out against us in the future by analyzing what God has forbidden in other matters that were not taken into account, as one of the elders came out to us and said that alcohol was not forbidden by God at all. The Holy Qur’an is considered a law and a constitution for Muslims, since 1400 years ago, the Qur’an did not bring anything strange and marvelous. The word of God Almighty is clear, understandable and known. We do not replace the forbidden with the permissible, and we do not interpret according to our whims. Hijab is a sign of a woman’s chastity and purity of her heart, and it preserves her modesty. Without it, there is no modesty and immunity against adultery and permissiveness. It prevents the influence of public display, unveiling, and mixing, and preserves the jealousy of the husband and family. My Muslim sister, the veil has been commanded by God in the Noble Qur’an. Advocates of corruption and misguidance always try to distort it, claiming that it is a reason for backwardness and lack of advancement and that it suppresses women’s freedom. Be deceived by these words and hold on to your veil and be proud of it in front of the advocates of falsehood And know that you will be in the highest degree of civility and progress with your chastity and respect, and do not forget the words of God Almighty, “And let them strike their pockets with their veils.” Therefore, you have to fear God within yourself and fully adhere to your veil. O men, your honors are like your souls, and you neglected them a lot, so you neglected care, you lost trust, and you took danger, and you only perish for yourselves, and you do not perceive. So, will you not understand and repent to your Lord and protect your women? A woman’s freedom is by her chastity and veil, and not by stripping her, as some of the ignorant have called for, follow the example of the Prophet’s wives and companions, may God be pleased with them. May God protect our women and your women, may God benefit us for Islam and Muslims, O God, honor Islam and Muslims, humiliate polytheism and polytheists, destroy your enemies, the enemies of religion, and make this country safe and reassuring, and all Muslim countries, with your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful. May God’s peace and blessings be upon our master Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and his family and all his companions

As a non muslim, who was raised in a an Islamic country and and a native speaker of Arabic. I don't need anyone to tell me what Islam is. I know Islam very well and understand the Islamic mentality that hates the non muslims and suppress women. My people suffered from racism, violence, and even killing. Churches were attacked and burned. Thank God I have immigrated to Western country, I see muslims here enjoy freedom of religion and worship. What people don't understand that they're multiplying like rabbots, and aim one day to rule the Western countries. I wish my kids won't see what we saw in the future, this is my nightmare. Don't rely on you government as it will do NOTHING especially labour/greens, you people need to urgently wake and make a PEACEFUL action and protest before it's too late, otherwise and your kids will pay the price!!! ربنا يرحمنا ويرحمكم

So you say you know Islam yet you make yourself sound like an idiot? Not even half way through your comment and I already spot an error, if you truly understood Islam you’d know that burning churches aren’t allowed. You claim that burning churches is part of “the Islamic mentality” also, Islam doesn’t suppress women, in fact, some of the greatest things were created by Muslim women such as universities. Also, harming non Muslims if they harm you is also not allowed. Come on, even a 5 year old Muslim knows more than you.

It's hard for a person who isn't born into Islam to understand the struggles of a person who leaves Islam. I had watched videos of Apostate Prophet before and in his videos he told that it was really hard for him to overcome the indoctrination of Islam from a very early age. Watching ur video gives a better insight as to how, we as humans break the barriers of ignorance with logic and rationality to become free.

I walked away from Catholicism many years ago and no one was ever abusive to me, notwithstanding my open denunciation of the faith. The Muslim community needs to accept apostasy in the same way: accept the right of people to speak out against their former faith, by all means engage in debate but treat people respectfully, they are still your family and friends. And Allah ... you had this coming.

After leaving christianity young I went back and was born again in 2014 only to leave a year later again because my church was involved in charity scams where they were making 50,000 on football competitions only for the charity to get 10% of the income and the rest going into the church. I was young, dumb, didnt understand and asked the wrong questions and investigated only to find the charity wasn't checking people and they'd housed a convicted paedophile who was on the run from London police for 2 whole weeks before he was caught. I understood quickly that my personal quest to find myself was getting me into all sorts where I thought to myself is this really what a God planned for me or did I get myself into it trying to find God. I've never looked back and 4 years on I feel like I want to read about the world and things we can prove factually instead of reading fiction, don't get me wrong I still read my fiction book.. ..just my gods now are people like Odin and Thor in anything marvel related lol. Enjoy being free, we're only here once.

If you believe or disbelieve in Jesus, no Christian will condemn you as its between you and God. Christians don't gloat when a person accepts Christ as its for the person's personal salvation as per Christian believe unlike in Islam. The beautiful part is that no one will threaten your life.

It's so powerful to watch videos of people explaining why they converted to Islam. It's never about objective truth and reason. It's always emotionalism. But whenever a devout muslim leaves islam there are clear objective reasons behind it. Great explanation, the issue of predestination is big one in Islam.

Firstly may I say in the most sincere way possible that if you ever need a friend or someone to talk to I am always around on social media and have a lot of free time as I'm disabled and am able to respond quite fast if you need help. Nothing untoward, perverse or otherwise just know you have someone if needed. I lost a daughter 10 years ago and something inside me boils when I hear stories like yours in a way but knowing you made the decision to leave that behind shows so much strength in your character that you've made me smile through that emotion. May your week start with the positivity needed to get you through and keep living the life you want to live and not the one someone else wants you to live and honestly remember if you ever need to talk you've at least got someone.

Thank you for sharing this! I did not come from an Islamic background nor do I have a shred of knowledge of how Muslim people worship and their doctrines but I did grow up to be a Christian and for 16 years, been indoctrinated to believe similar things you addressed in this video. One thing that really striked me in the Christian religion growing up is the confirmation "ritual". When I was younger, I was told that the priest came to the school (i studied in a Christian school where they built their own chapel for most of my elementary and high school years) for the sole purpose of doing the confirmation to children from age range of 12 to 17. And it's basically slapping those children to "confirm" that they're Christians or something, I don't quite remember but apparently I had to get confirmed before I can marry. The priests there don't hold back their slaps either and I know there are others who will simply place their hands on the child's cheek but not this one. Anyway, as a child, I felt anxious about it and I didn't wanna go through it. I even went into full defense mode and said, I wouldn't even marry anyway, I don't need to do it and I most certainly don't want to do it. And you know what I got? A 12 yr old me was told by my teacher that I was a sinner and that I was going to hell for not wanting to get manhandled by a creepy old man in a dress who's about twice my size. It was crazy and it felt like I was being initiated in a cult and I guess that was the beginning of me kinda steering away from religion. But then my agnosticism at the time took a long pause because I was so heavily indoctrinated in that school (we studied the bible (and by that I mean, all the good things in it) and prayed at the chapel everyday) and I didn't really get to question again until I got out. My full transition began, and it was a mixture of the inconsistencies in the written text, and the gross depictions of slavery, murder, genocide and many other treacherous things that are "justified" because God said so but "God loves us all equally". It became too much that I got fed up with all of that bullshit and I don't even want to be agnostic because if there was any omnipotence in this world, controlling us then they could all suck my nonexistent dick because this is a world of torture they've subjected us into and they're all sociopaths and psychopaths who've allowed so many sufferings from so many innocent people over the years and have done absolutely nothing to avoid or prevent it. They're the real evil in this world and for that, they deserve my negligence and hatred if they exist.

It is normal for humans to use their rationality to question and to seek a coherent understanding of reality. When a belief system can no longer present a coherent understanding of reality doubts will grow about its validity. And in some cases those doubts will lead to the discarding of that belief system.

@@mozillafirefay i was reading through the comments, and i wanted to make a comment thread but i think it would be best to reply here. firstly, i am a Christian. regarding the concept of heaven and hell. your analogy of woman and child roasting although it looks similar is not similar. its a good example but not the perfect example. i would explain further, a woman and her child both deserve life under any law, the woman is not greater to life than the child. so , both the woman's life and the child's life are equal. in the case of Christianity and God, both our life and God is not equal. we are property of God. a good example would be, if you have a computer or robot, and its infected with virus and it operates on its own commands, you can destroy the computer, or robot. and no one would complain, because its your property. if you destroy your phone infected with virus no one would complain because its your property. we are the property of God. another example is, as humans we eat plants and animals for food. both plants and animals are living. we kill chicken and roast to eat as food, we humans are greater than the chicken or fish or plants, we and the animals or plants are not equal to life. so people would not complain why you took that living plant or animal and roasted it and are eating it. so using the animal example, we are kind of like property or "animals" to God meaning God can treat us like pets, like how we treat pets and how people have their own pets, or God can roast us like how we roast other animals to eat. so your example of woman and child is a false example. Now to answer why does God have to burn people for eternity. in the Christian faith, it varies in explanation. some believe, people would burn for a specific time called "purgatory" you can research on that. some jews also believe in that. and at this purgatory although its like hell, its temporary and you would be refined for heaven. also some christian groups believe you would be brought back to life for a 2nd life for about 1000 years or so. you can research also into that. some jews believe people would burn and be gone forever. like how people die and are gone from earth forever. regarding Christianity, even if both purgatory or 2nd life is true, still some people would burn forever in hell. so to answer the eternal hell. its two places, either heaven or hell. if you live in a home and you see a famous criminal who is a confirmed serial killer outside your home whom police are looking for, would you bring the killer into your home? no. you report him to the police to be taken to prison. people who deny God, cannot live with God in heaven so they have to live with the devil who also denied God, in hell. as humans we have prisons for people who dont obey the rules. hope i explained well. if any questions you can let me know. i like good discussions. and i am a Christian as i said.

@@thehonesttruth415 "still some people would burn forever in hell." Atheist here. If you believe in Jesus with your heart, our hearts cringe when knowing people dear to us are burning in hell forever. However, the bible is based on the OT. All the salvation in Jesus is based on a chain of assumptions. A&E committed the original sin Sacrifices of the OT can't remove sin Jesus was the perfect sacrifice Jesus is the saviour He saved us from what? He saved us from an unprovable place where people are supposedly tormented for eternity. And we see how the new testament is constructed to be backward compatible with the OT. Now, the theory of evolution throws a wrench in all of that. No A&E, No original sin, Death is only a natural end, No consciousness after death, No need for salvation, No need for Jesus. The theory of evolution isn't "just a theory". It's the best explanation to the existing evidences. Fossil evidences, genetic evidences (chromosome 2) and many other.

The answer has to be either yes its true or its false .I encourage you to do your own research look into the quran ,look into the bible or whatever ideology that's out there and come up with your own conclusion .

It is a very common question that you are asking for anyone who are practising the religion. But as for Islam, the mercy of Allah is mentioned multiple times in the Quran and Hadiths. The mercy of Allah is mentioned triple more times than the punishment of Allah. In Al-Bukhaari (44) and Muslim (193) narrated from Anas that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever says Laa ilaaha ill-Allah and has in his heart goodness the weight of a grain of barley will be brought out of Hell, then whoever says Laa ilaaha ill-Allah and has in his heart goodness the weight of a grain of wheat will be brought out of Hell, then whoever says Laa ilaaha ill-Allah and has in his heart goodness the weight of an atom (or a small ant) will be brought out of Hell.” So you can see here in this this hadith, that Allah swt mentioned that even if your iman is within the size of grain that you will be brought out of Hell. Another example of Allah’s mercy is, if you read Surah Al-Qasas verse 15-16 where Prophet Musa killed a man. “And he entered the city at a time when its people were not aware [of his presence], and found therein two men fighting: one was from his party and the other was from his enemies. [When] the one who was his follower [saw Músa, he] cried out to him for help against the one who was from his enemies. So Músa [went and] struck him with his fist and killed him.
[Then Músa] said, “This is Shaytan's deed (عمل الشيطان); surely he is an open enemy who leads [others] astray.” [Músa] said, “My Lord! I surely have been (ظلمتُ نَفسي) unjust to myself; therefore (فاغفر لي) forgive me.” So [Allah] ( غَفَرَ) forgave him; He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.” We all know that killing another human is one of the major sin and knowing a Prophet who is the chosen people of Allah also commits sins and Allah showed His mercy to forgave the sin. Why do Allah punish people knowingly? You know, as a parent we all love our children so much. But as a parent we also know that as they grow up they will encounter hardships and make mistakes, they will have the ability to rebel and disobey us. So if one day you see your child doing something wrong like stealing or become a bully, does that means that you should not punish them? And if you punish them does that mean that you do not love or have mercy to your children? Why does the current world we live in need prison to put people who commits rebel against the government’s law? Doesn’t that means that the government knowingly know that there will be people who will commit unlawful acts? As I turned myself into Allah and the Quran, I find it is only 1 thing that Allah wants from us, that is only prostrate ONLY to Him. It’s okay to commit sins sometimes because we are humans, it’s okay if your iman goes up and down sometimes, or you feel lost while enduring his tests. But our mind is so limited and sometimes we are blurred by our emotions that we cannot see all of Allah’s blessing. Maybe we have trauma from our environment that practices the religion too strictly. What I would advise you is, even if you put yourself in that grain of iman, Allah will forgive you. Even if you are a sinner, and you ask Allah for forgiveness with a sincere heart, Allah will forgive you. And all those disbeliever they will have another test in Akhirah, Surah Al-A’raf:156 Ordain for us what is good in this life and the next. Indeed, we have turned to You ˹in repentance˺.” Allah replied, “I will inflict My torment on whoever I will. But My mercy encompasses everything. I will ordain mercy for those who shun evil, pay alms-tax, and believe in Our revelations. Allah specifically mentioned after His torment that His MERCY encompasses everything. For whatever reason that he created us for, and the purpose of what we want to do in this life, even in the size of the grain we put trust of believing in Him, He will give us His Mercy. That is His Promise. InsyaAllah.

Thank you for your bravery. You have spoken well. Islam indeed is a outlook/ a practice for men which requires the subjugation of women to a man's mind. When you think about this, how could Islam be a inspiration from " God " when clearly God could not be so stupid, so pitiless, so degrading of women - yet so praiseworthy of men. Therefore the whole creation of Islam needs to be historically evaluated. I suggest on youtube people may wish to look up Professor Tom Holland and Jay Smith. They give a very full account of Muhammad real life, how Islam came about and how Muhammad actually lived around Petra, not Mecca.

Reminds me of the Baptists I knew. To them you were condemned if you did not come to Jesus. (Yes Jesus, not God...). I asked about folks from other cultures that had no knowledge of Jesus..that is they grow up somewhere where Baptists did not occur and had no opportunity. They did not reject baptistism, they never had a chance. He told they were condemned anyway. I replied that didn't fly with me. My catholic relatives seemed to think that every thing would come out OK so long as you attended Mass and went to confession. That expunged your evil deeds. You were expected to confess even when you had done nothing wrong...very confusing to children. You went to hell if you didn't follow all the steps they laid out for you... catholicism is complicated. Some Jehovah's Ws that pestered me for a while said that they had a select 100,000 who were going to survive in Paradise and you had to earn your place. The rest weren't going to hell because there was no hell. Hell they told me was a creation of godless catholics to frighten the waivering. I opted for agnosticism.

@@mozillafirefay My pleasure. I admire you very much, and wish that I was as well-spoken as you. Because of science and truth, religious people will continue to be offended and angry when they are shown-up to be wrong. To me it's very simple, if someone says that a god created the universe, then who/what created the "god"? No answer? Then I don't believe their reasonless guesswork, and I'll usually laugh at the person. Unfortunately, when religion is pushed on a child, the child is too young to ask "why?". Religion is to be ridiculed at every mention, in my opinion, just like anything else people say without a logical reason. Parents and schools should not be indoctrinating children. It should be considered child abuse by the government. And I say that even though I had the best mother in the whole world who tried to raise me a catholic. At least she never pressured me or got angry when I questioned it.

Fay, The Most Gracious sure, you are welcome to provide proof for the claim you are making but I only asked for an explanation. I am just trying to understand your rationale that because God is “cruel” or “unloving” according to your perception, this means He doesn’t exist. Also, it is your choice whether you want to worship Him or not. To be fair, if I saw God the same way you did, I wouldn’t feel motivated to worship Him either. But the fact that you are questioning worshiping Him means you also admit that He does exist. Does that mean you are agnostic? I was just a bit confused on your stance by the video. Fay, The Most Gracious I understand and I’m terribly sorry you understand God to be defined that way from the Quran. from my perspective 1- god wants you to worship him willingly and that will be more valibal faith than the angels because they ware created with faith already with in them , so your faith that you will find throu following your heart and your mind together will be more meaningfull and beautifull and pure because you came to him willingly not forced up on you . 2 - He created good and evil to bring out beautiful meanings that you would not have known had it not been for good and evil, or strength and weakness, poverty and wealth. Because how can we know good without evil? Or the meanings of peace without war? Or how the meanings of helping someone without someone who needs it? Or how to know the truth without the existence of falsehood. 3 - and last going to hell is based on your choice , you can choose to go to heaven just do good and most of the good things to do based on humanity are also good in islam . and is not just you go to hell if you do bad things , there is rewords for doing good things you go to heaven . like for example lets say somone raped and killed a young girl and no one find out about it how can she get justic because its not fair if he go unpuniched . an thats why there is jujdement day and for peapole lik him hell is made

They weren't the best reasons to leave Islam or any religion for that fact. Predestination is only inconsistent with the notion of an omnibenevolent god. As far as I know the Islamic conception of god is more like a warlord and doesn't mind doing acts of violence and torture. The acts themselves are redefined as _mercy_ or _justice_ so a clever apologist could give a rational argument that that behaviour is perfectly consistent with god's character and too bad if you don't like it. It is not up to you to judge god's morality. Just because you have an idea that god MUST be kind and caring is irrelevant. He might not be those things yet still exist and torture in hell is awaiting you after death. However the *"Outsider Test For Faith"* I feel is the best argument against the belief in god and the supernatural, as well as the lack of empirical evidence, together with the *"Argument From Divine Hiddenness".* The Muslim religion is based basically on accepting the word of one man from the 7th century that claimed to have spoken to an angel. That's it. The religion was spread by the sword and anyone not accepting it in those lands was killed. So modern muslims are the descendents of those people that were forced to convert or simply took the word of a schizophrenic warlord. BTW, well done for leaving. All the best in the future.
