great video honestly, well articulated and examplified. I am getting a commencal meta SX which is a mullet because I ride mostly park and I´m short so a mullet works better for me on the steeps and jumps, I love the 29er up front for stability and speed.

Yea bro. I agree. I got rid of my hd5 which was 27.5 and after comparing to my 29er occam for a few months. HD5 was a baller jumping bike but other than that overall trail riding and rolling over stuff and pedal efficiency, occam won every time. Roll that Evil homie!!

Ya dude and I’ve realized I can actually jump better on a 29er. I jumped right to 29er from a BMX bike. Did 26 just for a little bit. But that’s about it

Idk for me the clash (dont know what setup/rented it for couple of days) just felt like a slow steady tank. As mentioned Ryden had this in setup1 as well.. its so slow, and heavy feeling. All the time I felt like I needed a size down.. now deciding if I should go full downhill bike or mullet with long travel (meta SX). I only do bikepark/downhill. Home=flat and xc only, I dont do this at all, even not with my meta HT.

I agree man. Such a heavy bike. wasn't for me. I decided to go with a shorter travel bike to I could climb more.

Little bit of both. There was a build that was done by a pro rider who rides for commencal who did it. I also reached out to commencal

To be honest I’ve never rode an FRS. But I definitely think the clash is an awesome DH bike and great for jumping.

I’m loving my clash at the minute but it isnt a great climber and not good on flat stuff it’s great on steeps though, also do u know what diameter of Seatclamp the clash fits?

Dude totally agree. It’s a beast pointed downhill but it’s a beast. But like you said climbing is not fun on it. But the downhill setup is amazing
