Hello. My name is Joe and I live in new Rhode Island. I just recently went to Belize in February for the 1st time. After being there for 5 days. I started Feeling and knowing This is where I want to live. A hard feeling to explain like you mentioned but you just know it. On Valentine's Day February 14th I purchased a lot on the Norrh side of Caye Caulker water front east. Everything you were saying about Belize Made me feel even more connected. Just thought I would share. Now I need to just to get there lol.

• Today I have something very important to tell you • God is justice, He is just and does not rejoice in injustice, sin is injustice and God hates. We are all sinners and the destiny of sinners is hell. • But, God with his immense love, gave his only begotten son Jesus Christ, to come into the world, to be like a human being, to suffer and die for humanity to forgive our sins. • So that we can now have a second chance to be reconciled to God and be saved through Jesus Christ, who gave his life for us because he loves us. • Jesus loves me, Jesus loves you, Jesus loves all mankind, that's why He died on that cross for us, He is risen and can save you from eternal damnation and provide you with eternal salvation. Jesus will return to seek the saved, the Church. • We can confess our sins to Him, because He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all injustice. • For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. • Jesus loves you, and Jesus wants to save you, you can be saved! Believe in Him and obey His word. God bless you! 💓

There is so much beauty to my country - BELIZE. While we are colonize by England, we are a small independent nation. We gain our independence on September 21st, 1981. We are a people of diversity. We are originally made up of 6 different ethnic groups. Which are the East Indians, Mopan Maya's, Mestizo's, Garifuna's Mennonite's, and Creole. I'm a Creole woman. Then we have many people who have migrated to Belize and make it their own, which are people from US, AFRICA, EUROPE AND ASIA and CANADA. hope this info helps you to make up your decision easier.

I bought a farm in Sarteneja village 5 years ago, live simply, simply live had be my guide for years. Thailand was my first choice, but here I'm very close to grandkids and love it here. Spent winters renting from 2009 and for several years before buying, now this is home. Had tried Hawaii, but it's much better for me here. I'm retired and knew I wanted coconut trees, warm weather, and great food. The people I've met live a laid back, easy lifestyle that I was seeking, I did not like San Pedro, too busy for my liking.

I lived in Belize for 4yrs back when they first got their Independence, my parents bought a house on St. Georges Keys but I sold it after he past away, Compared to Thailand, which is my current home after I moved from a small town in Washington State, the one main thing I hated about Belize is the tiny insect local people call them ( no see ems ), because you can't see them, it is so bad that people would have to brush oil on their screen windows because the screen windows could not stop them. They were worse than mosquitos, and their bite hurts like hell, we have nothing like that in Thailand, you can sit on the beach all day here. From what I see on youtube Belize hasn't changed much since I was there. But being closer to your grandkids is something we can't compete with but Thailand checks more boxes than Belize I'm sure.

I totally agree. But the country is NOT under British rule, they won their independence in 1981. The government has issued protections for generations of families from Belize, so that they aren't priced out of their homes. I'm from Texas and it was actually disappointing to see the traditional luxury gated neighborhoods being built, using so much land and energy and resources, its not necessary and it reeks of outsiders.

A.D. I subscribed to International Living last summer, specifically to research Belize. Been thinking about Belize for a long time, as a place to live. I am 65 now and very tired of Michigan winters, but these last 3 and a half years are the biggest reason I want to move there. I can't take it anymore! I'm at the point where I'm ashamed to be an American! Just want peace and quiet...and, of course, to leave the cold behind. IL magazine held a conference/seminar on Belize beginning of last December in Cancun, where you could meet with all kinds of professionals and expats to learn about moving to Belize. Plus it was close enough if you wanted to head down there and explore a bit on your own. IL offers a discount for these seminars if you are a subscriber. Unfortunately, I was not able to attend this one.😢 But they hold these a few times a year, I believe, for various locations. (There was another on Panama this year in early February.) You can always google realtors in Belize. I watched one hosted by a woman named Macarena Rose, with Keller Williams, I believe. There are a lot of informative videos about this beautiful country to view! I almost don't want too many people to know about it, though. Depending what happens on November 3rd, there may just be a mad rush of Americans coming to this friendly, peaceful and diverse country! Anyway, hope that helps! 😊
@lindasamul90584 жыл бұрын
Me again...I have more info for you. After I typed all that, I looked at my March copy of IL magazine and there was a little article about locations with celebrity homes and it mentioned Blackadore Caye, owned by Leonardo Di Caprio. For info and testimonials go to www.BelizeParadise.com and Email to info@BelizeParadise.com. Good luck!

My annual income for 2021, between Social Security and a small Pension, will be $23,995.32 - $4.68 short of the $24,000 requirement. Will this disqualify me from applying to the QRP program?

Hi Laura. I'm a single guy from South Africa with no dependents. I have been looking for some place that would suit me to try to emigrate to since SA is going downhill very quickly and I can't see any good reason for me to stay here. I am a qualified English teacher and have tried my luck in Vietnam, which was amazing. The thing is though, I couldn't see myself setting there in the long-term purely because of the language barrier. Very recently, I was hunting for other viable options when I stumbled across your video on some website or another and when I watched it and read a little more about it, I nearly fell over and had to sit down! HAHA! This sounds absolutely AMAZING and EXACTLY the type of lifestyle I could enjoy. I have hunted high and low and I can't find any recommendation as to what type of costs are involved. I would have thought that this information would have been made available first and foremost? Please could you advise what you think would be a reasonable monthly income for a single person for rent and food per month? Thanks so much! :)

I was in the psychology field, had done long term rentals and property rehab for years with my husband. We combined those skills into international tourism hospitality when we arrived here. Most important skills, in my opinion, are grit, having a safety net financially, and having a greater good mentality with regards to how one views the role being a guest in another country. An expat will always be somewhat of a guest, and I feel strongly that there has to be a driver to want to leave it better than you found it, in how one contributes to society here. The worst thing I have found in anyone moving here is a desire to benefit only personally, without considering the impacts on the environment, locals, community etc. Hope that helps!

thanks for the video. have you had any issues with title encumbrances? I've heard horror stories about Panama and Costa Rica. Ex-Pats that have bought land and houses only to lose them a few years later due to title disputes.

Thinking of retiring between Belize or Guatemala. Wonder which one is safer and cheaper to live on a pension of 3K US dollars a month.

Great information but you need to reply when people ask you specific questions. If you put yourself forward as a spokesperson then you must respond so you can make a connection. Scroll back and see that you might have provided links that would provided value to the viewer who is 1/3 sold because they’re watching.

I bought 4 acres in Cayo, Bullet Tree Falls to be specific. I enjoy small town and village living. I’d like to connect with folks who live there or will in the future. We can create a community.

Hi my friends and I were thinking about the same thing, we stayed in bullet tree falls and loved it. How much did you pay for 4 acres if you don’t mind me asking

Started 2 hotels in Belize, very nice 👌 Gotta have money to make money, how are you doing especially after Covid & absolutely no tourism for over a year ? My friend from Orange Walk who does a lot of land tours in Belize just rebuilt a hotel north of the airport in Belize City
