Amber alleged that Johnny also punched her in the face so many times that she lost count while he was wearing his big rings but she got pictures of her the day after that alleged beating. JD would have broken her skull hitting her with rings that would act like brass knuckles. Also got the "walking on broken glass from bottles of wines" yet not getting a single cut on her bare feet. There are so many details that make Amber's story just not plausible nor possible, not to mention all the other recording that couldn't be entered into evidence or the double evidence of "photos" by AH teams.

The recordings tell it all for me. There is one that the jury didnt hear about the night in Australia when she took his finger off. Yes, the jury couldnt hear it but we the public can and it destroys her SA claim IMO. you can hear her begging to go to the hospital with him, the doc and nurse are commenting on how crazy she is and how she started it and how they had to try and calm her, then you can hear her getting the recording at the end, she had left it in the room with the doc and nurse to hear what everyone was saying. According to her this was the night she was SA'ed, cut with glass all over (you can hear her stomping around in heels on the tape - how is that possible if she was slipping on glass and alcohol) and in her room alone and crying. NONE of that happened. She didnt have a mark on her. In reality she had flipped out, abused him and then was screaming about losing him. It is beyond SICK to make up an SA claim and accuse an innocent person of rape. She is evil.

I honestly don’t think that Depp thought he could win the actual court case because defamation and malice are so hard to prove in court. But this case has been openly televised and the jury in the court room is not the only jury or in many ways, even the most important jury - public opinion and repairing his reputation, matter a lot more to him than the money. He might not win and even if he does and is awarded a financial settlement, he likely knows he won’t see it. At the end of the day, even if Depp loses, at least some of his reputation has been restored and Heard’s has been completely obliterated.

I am glad that someone with a legal background can express her take on the trial. I just came off a month long grand jury duty and have had to decide on several domestic violence cases, seeing and listening to real victims having to testify. Having to sit ten feet from all this testimony...I never, ever want to do that again. This is truly heartbreaking and everyone of them...you could tell they didn't want to be there. More than one had to excused for a while before continuing with their testimony. They were all truly broken and traumatized...so when I went over all the footage of Amber Heard's testimony, I started to slowly get incensed...there are real people suffering terrible things and she's using that to paint herself as a martyr...not for them, but for her own aggrandizement...who does that? Her behavior on the stand was nowhere near how the victims I saw behaved, so...I have always doubted her, but the moment that truly started to trigger me was when Camille reminded her that Isaac Baruch wept in his testimony...and her reply was she and Isaac are the only ones who have wept...having just witnessed real tears and agony I got irate.(recall her acting coach mentioned she has trouble producing tears while acting) and I was glad Camille referred to this lack in her closing argument. To me, she has a disregard for people in general and that includes the jury, we're all just working class folks wanting to get back to our own lives because we have bills to pay. She thinks this acting performance will fool all these simpleton jurors when in fact, she should have put a lot more study into what real victims experience, not what she thinks will get by for an uninformed public. I almost don't care how the verdict goes, I just don't want people believing she represents a serious issue she is just using for her own benefit...that's the real crime here.

My mother was a victim of DV my father was a perpetrator. All I can remember from my early childhood was me and my sister hiding from my father and my mother being beaten. When my father was home we were all terrified and we were doing everything we could to not set him off. Eventually he beat me and my sister as well as my mother until one day I grew to big he hit my mother so I beat the snot out of him. Amber is a complete liar and i hope she goes to jail for perjury. There are two stories that we should put side by side and it would make things on a very different perspective! The case of domestic violence surrounding Rihanna's case and Amber's. One case had a lot of pictures to back the story up with medical records while the other had virtually nothing and took years before being brought to a court of law! In one case the victim wanted the whole ordeal to end as fast as possible while the other...so-called victim wanted to accumulate more (elements) to her story just like if someone was eagerly accumulating air miles to travel the world for free..........

I did a Facebook post about this. Consider that Rihanna was due to perform in the Grammys the next day and she pulled out. Yet Amber makes TV appearances the very next day after being brutally beaten by Johnny? Consider also that Chris Brown wasn't known to wear more than 1 ring on his finger at that time and with barely ringed fingers he dealt such a devastating blow to Rihanna. Now compare that with Johnny's 10 ringed hands!

One thing that I wish had been brought up about Amber's supposed bruises: When she filed for divorce and the TRO and TMZ was there to photograph her, the bruise on her face was a big black bruise. But at that point she hadn't seen Depp in nearly a week, which is when she alleged was the last time he beat her. If that were true, then by the time she had been photographed/video taped by TMZ the bruise should have healed to a yellow color. Not the black/purple color it was. Which tells me that A.) Amber faked the bruise with makeup, and B.) She hasn't had much personal experiences with bruising to know what color they're supposed to be at which day in the healing process and screwed up the color. That, or she wanted it to look good and visible for the paparazzi cameras and the world at large. I really wish Johnny's legal team had brought that one up. But she's clearly lied in so many ways with her story changing all the time, while Johnny has been consistent the entire time.

I think Amber’s closing argument around “if he hit her once” falls apart bc they also argued with their DV expert that reactionary abuse (while not good) shouldn’t be held against someone. So then, since we know that Amber was the aggressor and JD was victim… his abuse, if any, was reactionary and shouldn’t be held against him. They’ve lost their own argument from jump, and have trapped themselves by it. Since he wasn’t the aggressor, she can’t be a face of DV, thus making her at fault for defamation and malice.

When this trial started I had not seen or heard anything about their case or relationship so I walked in ready to hear both sides and I was floored when I started following this case. I began listening to all their audios on KZbin and found so much more evidence that did not make the courtroom, all in Johnny’s favor! I now have a deeper love, appreciation and respect for Johnny. That's like poking at a snake that is trying to get away, it will turn back and bite in some manner. With the finger incident in Australia, Johnny covered for her and lied for her when he was getting treatment, by the evidences shown in court. In Australia, doctors have an obligation under the laws here to report any signs of domestic violence to the Police, regardless whether it's a Female or Male. Amber would of have been charged under the laws here by the Police, even if Johnny didn't press charges. Domestic violence in Australia against the spouse is as serious as Attempted murder. If the Police wish to in Australia, if this case goes Johnny's way, can pursue Amber upon arrival into the state up to 10 years after the crime was committed. She should of taken Johnny's advice and to leave it alone and walk away, now she has opened up a huge can of worms, and if she looses, she will never hear the end of it.

This is a case of legality vs facts. Never in my life did I think that was possible. I thought facts were on the side of the law. Apparently, the first amendment beats all according to the defense team. (Ben Rottenborn.) Even if Amber defames Johnny with rape allegations, proven not true. (e.g. Camille Vasquez, Q: Why didn't you go to the hospital? Amber Heard, A: I didn't need to. Others, as well as myself, Q: After almost being killed and raped? How?) These accusations are beyond horrid and cruel. There's no way she'd not be scarred for her life. So... Where are the scars? We didn't see them after the island photoshoot at all. (Which took place after the Australian incident.) Those type of scars aren't bloody red after they've healed completely. I know, because I'm a welder and I have worse.

As a lawyer I can tell you that Rottenborn's argument on this issue was flawed. If you accuse someone (by communicating to others - verbally/in writing), with malice, of a crime, sexual violence and/or physical abuse and if that's proven to be untrue (on balance of probability - i.e. over 50%), then you would be found guilty of defamation. Rottenborn was in fact making a point on the "malice" requirement, but he muddied with by bringing the 1st Amendment.

Seeking medical assistance isn't something you automatically do, when you're bruised or bleeding... Especially keeping in mind that AH has always tried to protect him, which is why she never called the cops or pressed charges. When she told him “Tell the World, I, Johnny Depp, am a victim of dv” and he said yes I am 🥺my chest started to burn and I was so angry with AH because I said for every woman getting abused that loses their life because they are not believed😡so now, if something does happen to AH the entire world will not believe her.

What shocks me is the extreme violence of AH, covered up by her team and the media. They do exactly what they claim others would do: victim-blaming, demonizing the victim. It seems like in our culture men are not seen as human beings.

Great analysis, and bold to take a stand. Thanks Lee! I think Amber was riding the ‘energy’ of the legitimate MeToo movement, and took advantage of the ‘believe all women’ approach. But this trial exposed that she personally leveraged that and media to increase her own positive exposure (MeToo claims = status/support in 2018), while minimizing her own bad actions.

I always thought that if a person was abusive there would be a history of abuse, can someone in their 50's just become that way, does not seem to be any proof that he was that way with any of his wife or girlfriends before Amber. Why would he start with her?

Also other male celebs that were charged with assault ended up with many more women coming forward. JD hasn't!!!!!!!!!!!!. Cheers Rosemary Perth Western Australia (71 yrs)

@@roses9339 exactly like Camille said no me too stood with her, look how many came forward with the others convicted not a single one for Johnny. You can’t even count Ellen Barkin as she admitted he never touched her just threw something and even then not at her.

I was always for Johnny. All the things Amber said never added up to me. I watched a great video today someone did. It was Amber heard vs the movie Gone Girl. They put side by side clips of Amber heard and the actress that played in the Gone Girl movie and it was terrifying how much they were alike!

It was hard to be believed at first, but after all the AH's shenanigans and her attitude during the trial, at the end it became more possible to believe that indeed AH or her friends trashed the place to set JD up. As you said, if she was able to lie about the sexual abuse she could have perfectly messed up the place to have one more "proof" under her belt. If the Jury believes JD then after this trial AH will be outted as a real evil woman. The tables would have turned horribly on her and she will find out what it was like for JD all these years: How ironic!

really appreciate your perspective! particularly as you were determined to be neutral! I was as well.

Lee, I subbed when you came through my YT feed a few days ago. I really enjoy your channel. By now, you know Johnny won his case (for the most part). I’m so glad he can now heal, as can his children, friends, & even the staff & body guards. I hope Isaac’s doing really well-what a great friend; something tells me he’s doing a happy dance & will be able to paint again soon. #HealingToJohnny

I heard about that the jury may swing due to the closing of AD team as Lee you've explained as long as the abuse could have been just committed once by Johnny, the jury should vote for AH, the bar is very high for JD...but still hope Johnny will win the case.

Like Camille said you either believe all of it or you don’t believe anything Amber accused him of. That part got me. If she had made up one accusation everything else is not credible. That shows malice.

I really tried to stay neutral, too. The texts “from” Johnny still bother me; however, I believe, after watching so much manipulation from Heard, I can say I’m not certain the texts were not manipulated by her as well. In the end, Team Heard tried to purify the water she already poisoned.
@Preservestlandry2 жыл бұрын
The text to Bettany & Dueters? It doesn't matter, she didn't even know about them at the time because they weren't sent to her, so it couldn't be abuse. She found out when his phone was examined by an expert, for this trial.
@tammyl.bailey33212 жыл бұрын
@@Preservestlandry Thanks for clarifying that. I think Heard’s lawyers were trying to create a gotcha moment but with so many untruths, it sort of made me scratch my head. I believe the jurors did, too, IMO.

I'm one of the many DV survivors and it's uncanny how amber and my ex act. Especially in those audio recordings of her taunting johnny. It's tough to even listen to her without past memories resurfacing after 15 years. Hope johnny gets his justice

The trailer park owner/manager contacted Johnny's legal team. He came forward on his own; as did Mr. Tremaine. They both said they wanted the truth to be told.
