Listen I’m one of the few people who think for as good as shavkat is, or as high as his ceiling seems to be he’s actually a bit overrated…but even still, I can’t see a scenario in which he just allows Ian to frustrate and point fk him to a boring lame decision. Ian barely could manage to do that against Geoff, and that’s because Geoff just approached that so lazily himself. Even if Ian manages to frustrate him a bit or refuses to ever reallynplant his feet and exchange, I think shavkat will eventually force the issue and isn’t ever going to just take his foot off the gas and resign himself to being point fcked

When you mention how Ian likes to stay on the outside and pop shots at someone while Shavkat is endless pressure, it makes me think about Leon and Belal's fight. Leon broke due to Belal's pressure over the course of 5 rounds and so Belal used his canelo like boxing to tag Leon up in the pocket. Shavkat is too tough and Ian doesnt have 1 punch KO power so his chin isnt gonna fail him in this one. Once Shavkat gets close and gets Ian in a clinch it'll be bad news for Ian Garry. I think Shavkat wins handily. Garry doesn’t have that much power, and frankly Shavkat will just take some hits, close the distance, then take down and smother Gary.
