Why is Tony Montana liked by millions?

He refused to kill a woman and her two children, (as requested by the powerful Sosa) which happened to be in the car with the target , knowing that action by him would take him to war with Sosa's hit squad. Tony Montana killed the bad guys. Not good guys or innocents. And he had no fear of any one of them.

He was a drug lord, the cocaine he sold killed millions of innocents, plus he was using mules, literally pregnant women, many of them died because of overdose. So he indirectly killed many women and child, it was really hypocrite of him to act like he has never killed an innocent in this scene.

But, before get into war with Sosa, Tony's personal big tragedy happened when He killed his best friend, including without even understanding what happened between his friend and his sister...

Tony is og gangsta who didn't snitch and never screwed over anyone, integrity in one word A trait almost no gangster has but every gangster thinks they have.

I think Montana displayed the law of karma retribution in a good way. He only killed those who tried to kill him or stop him from obtaining what he considered to be success like Slitherbond.

He killed Slitherbond who was a lying snake a cop using his position of authority deceptively to extort criminals a hippocarat and the other guy who tortured Franks brother other than these two evil men he killed everybody else he killed was basically trying to kill him..like Rittenhouse armed gun men were trying to kill him. Did we take note of that. According to the main actors the men Toni killed were essentially considered evil by them the protagonist.

I don't think most men want to take up a profession in murder, drugs and violence, did you watch the ending? The whole point of the movie is that you shouldn't be like him. Although I will say his confidence and ambition is so admirable and that's something everyone should be like.
