WHY IS YOUR G35 OVERHEATING? | FIXED PROBLEM

Hello all,
In this video i found out earlier that i was experiencing a failing water pump that I’ve had for 242K miles. Hissing and squealing from the engine and constantly overheating were the signs of my water pump has gone bad. Always check your coolant levels Aswell as for coolant leaks first !

FIXED SOLUTION: I had a bad water pump, loose timing chain belt and loose tensioner

Its can also be air pockets the pockets don't allowed the themostat to open up

About to change the Water pump on my roommates 05 g35 sedan. Leaking from the weep hole. Also if the pump or orings are bad will it leak into your oil because it it ran off of the timing chain? Some water in the oil. Alot of leakage from the weep hole.

Wayne Byrd yea everything was fine but i heard the bad bearing from water pump. Though JT it was just water pump big loose timing chain bad water pump and tensioner

So you dont have to swap the radio out to hook up subwoofers?

No u usually don't, you can just disconnect the back speakers and use an adapter to hook up subs as the back speakers

@@davidcoolyeah1 if you have bose you tap into the line for the speakers before the stock amp and wire those up to rca's for the new sub amp

Turn ur ac off and turn on heater if u have heat pushing through it’s not ur water pump I subscribed

Dutty Boi D I’m having the same issue rn but when I turn on the ac only what do You think 🤔 this could be ? Once I shut off my ac the car cools off I know it’s not the fans cause there blowing full . I also changed the thermostat

I can't FUCKING get the air bubble out or there's another one that's keeps getting created iced had it tested for a head gasket leak I've replaced the water pump the thermostat 3 times the last one with one from the dealership and I use a vaccum filler to fill the coolant

Questions u water pump was making noise or leaking...? My g37 is doing the same but not noise or leaking.. fan good new thermostat good.. new coolant sensor .radiator clean..??

More than likely you have a internal leak. Do you see any coolant on the floor ?

Did you ever find the problem? Mines doing the same thing right now. No overheating no leaks but losing coolant in the reservoir
