My son has one of the original gold tops with the signed certificate. Not sure that the value will be different than any other epi Les Paul...but it came with US pickups and sounds great..he plans to just hang on to it even though he now owns Gibsons etc.

I wouldn't buy the iridescent copper but it is interesting and i'd like to see one in the fleisch

I WOULD buy one of these copper things, were they not made in China.

Yes Joe, at 2 to 3x the price of the Vintage brand you refer to. The Epi's are now way out of the budget of a beginner from a working class background wanting to emulate his or her hero.

Why can't you make his Epi's as Gibsons at Epi's prices? In other words, change the headstock and put Gibson on it.
@Game4LordАй бұрын
Have you seen Epiphone's prices lately? They're disgustingly overpriced. Nothing that either company makes is worth what they cost when companies like Harley Benton have far better specs, for 80-90% less of what an Epiphone or Gibson would cost.
@moonlight11511Ай бұрын
@@Game4Lord I assume you're talking about Epiphone x Gibson Custom here, and that's supposed to be a more premium line, and seeing as it's made with the Custom Shop, it's gonna be more expensive but you're paying for better parts.

So at 18000 out there. I'd think any of the "signature models" are worth less than regular models right? When a market is flooded the value drops. Remember toilet paper during COVID? Value dropped when it became plentiful. Now get back in the 🚽 Joe HhhhaaAa just kidding. Keep jamming and look me up when in Pennsylvania. I have a few things you might want

Is it just me or is it weird to see him everywhere? I don't know a single person who has ever heard of him and I find his music run of the mill from what I have heard. How in the F is this guy in every guitar magazine and website when no one knows who he is? He literally popped off a few years ago but I still do not know anyone who has heard of him. Strange.

He was a kid prodigy that seems to have kept him famous for some reason

He always charts high on the blues charts as well…and he’s constantly on the road playing medium size venues which always sell out,, i would say he’s one lucky guy doing what he loves,, getting paid well and he writes music columns in guitar player magazine,, he’s pretty well known in the guitar world…

Is it just me or is it weird that you appear to be a guitar and didn’t know who JB was ? I’ve been listening to him for about a decade. Check out his Nerdville east and west. The man has every fender amp imaginable
@guitarsaremyfriendzzz7077Ай бұрын
@@Cmunic8 that's all he is known for. I never hear about his playing just his collection. It is never anyone glazing him for his actual skills but about some Gibson he has. How does he get money for all of this when almost no one under 50 knows who he is? XD No offense. I just find it strange that I never see vids of his playing but just of some new guitar of his. It is bizarre. It is usually the other way around where you get nothing but playing and one or two vids of products but Joe is all products. He feels like a plant or something to show off new expensive gear. XD
@Cmunic8Ай бұрын
@@guitarsaremyfriendzzz7077 I don’t know, I’ve been seeing for quite awhile. His royal Albert hall concert was pretty impressive and he surrounds himself with some very good musicians that I wouldn’t expect to be playing with a plant

I bought a Epiphone Les Paul Modern directly from Epiphone/Gibson and they sent me a 3 year old refurbished or returned guitar with a defective input jack, a warped neck and horrible fret buzz. Zero quality control and very questionable business practices selling 3 year old returned guitars as new. Hoping to get my full refund and will only buy from a reputable shop in the future. If you are going to sell direct to consumers then have good policies and better quality control.
