Another Great Video Zach!!!! Even though I'm a 2000s kid, I loved X-Men TAS. I had watched the first seasons of this and Spider-Man TAS when I was 10 Years Old when CITV had syndicated it. And I loved it!!! A few years later, I rewatched the first season of X-Men TAS and binged watched the rest of the series. I think Season 1 and 2 of X-Men TAS are Amazing and Blow the Fox Movies out of the water, and I say this as someone who loves First Class, The Wolverine, Deadpool 1+2 and Logan. X-Men TAS is one of my favourite Superhero Animated Shows of ALL_TIME alongside Spider-Man TAS, X-Men Evolution, TMNT 2003, Teen Titans, The Batman and Avengers EMH. I can't wait to watch X-Men'97 (Or Should I call X-Men TAS Chapter 2), and hopefully this means we'll get a revival of Spider-Man TAS, X-Men Evolution and Avengers EMH. My Favourite X-Men Characters: Kitty Pryde and Nightcrawler.

Usually you overhype the shit out of almost everything, but so far I’m thinking your 100% right. This shows freaking great so far. I highly recommend this show to anybody and can’t wait to talk about this show with my Dad lol he loved the X-Men as a kid

I feel you on the movies not being on the same quality. I’ve only watched the movies and thought they were great. I always thought “what do people mean when they say the movies aren’t giving it all?” Then I watched these first 2 episodes and thought yeahh cyclops in the movies is nowhere near this lol.

My favorite was always Gambit. I hope he gets a chance to shine, because so far he's really been on the back burner and kind of crapped on aside from that one epic scene. Don't get me wrong, I've loved it all so far. Magneto is my dude right now. Cyclops has been showing out like the boss he is and Storm has been an absolute queen. Storm deserves her own movie. I really wish they'd do some independent movies to build the core X-Men team. It'd be great for MCU to move away from the Avengers and lean into the X-Men and FF. And more Spiderman, because Tom can do no wrong.

According to one producer “it’s literally the next day”. Well they LIED!!!!!! First of all Xavier didn’t die he was taken away by the Shi ar if this is “literally the next day” how is Jean 8 months pregnant?Also this is X-men 97 and Charles Xavier’s death certificate reads 96. So what the hell happened here, how can you promote the show as “the next day” yet in your own show it’s a year later. The we meet Roberto Da Costa who was somehow snatched up by the Friends Of Humanity. He’s just throws you in with no explanation for anything more importantly how did they catch him? Anyway the warehouse starts getting cold and it’s Storm. she just bust in the warehouse and it just feels flat. They wanted the drama from the OG but fail to set it up. Storm and Bishop and the FoH just blast each other in a fight that’s all spectacle but no substance, like this show. Then Cyclops blast in and attacks the FoH with his optic blast, which I don’t mind because his visor helps control the intensity of the blast. So he can hit people without killing them, BUT ONLY WHILE HE WEARS HIS VISOR, which is contradicted when he fools the Human attackers into taking it off to blast them at full power. Well he just killed them all, which is not what the X-men do or stand for. Then after that Bullshit. It immediately cuts to the mansion. So I guess they just left those dead bodies in that warehouse. The mansion plays out just like the first premier episode, Da Costa wakes up to see beast upside down and then Jubilee pops in and starts info dumping and I’m wondering “For who is this for?” “We all know this”. Then we suddenly cut to him in the Danger Room. Why!? It’s called “The Danger Room” for a reason. Then Wolverine tackles him and intimidates him because that’s what he did to Gambit in the first episode. Then we cut too Jean and Scott in Xavier’s office. I’m not kidding, the show just cuts to scene, to scene, to scene. Jean and Scott talk to the President. Scott tells the president “ The UN was to help destroy all the sentinels” and the President then talks about how “Trask went missing after they destroyed his factory”. Yeah all of that is wrong, Trask didn’t go missing. He and Gyrich set up a new factory in Genosha where they enslaved mutants. Storm, jubilee and Gambit were among them, they also battled the sentinels again in episode 48 titled Courage. Where morph faces his fear of his own mortality. Anyway back to Jean and Scott in the office, when a basketball breaks into the window and the rest of the team are playing. With Jubilee blasting Wolverine for “scaring Roberto off” but when and how? They’re all in casual clothes playing basketball, when a few minutes ago we saw Wolverine, Jubilee and Sunspot in the danger room fully dressed in their costumes but more importantly, HE WASNT EVEN WITH THEM PLAYING. Then they go to look for him and find him in a club, because when your being hunted its great to go to a public place where anyone can spot you and dance. He doesn’t try to go home or even call any family, nope he just needs to get his dance on. The episode ends with them having a final battle with the sentinels and somehow Storm can manipulate a Thunderbolt to make Ice, even though the heat from a thunderbolt can burn flesh but whatever. Then of course the infamous Gambit charging wolverines claws. As I pointed out several times, Gambits powers create kinetic charges which explode. Which means anything that’s charged will blow up, which includes everything around it. Meaning wolverines hands, but of course they did this for some dumb lightsaber shit and I have to ask. What the hell was the point in Gambit charging wolverine’s claws? They’re already capable of cutting anything so what the hell was the point of that? It’s just empty spectacle. This show is an absolute mess, the dialogue is clunky as hell and just feel awkward. Morph who is the comic relief (at least that’s what they’re promoting) his jokes fall extremely flat and not even remotely funny. He’s introduced by impersonating Xavier which is already in bad taste because they’re all supposed to be in mourning. But his relevance along with Bishop just seems to be forced and out of place. The Jubilee voice actress is fine and does a good job. But the older cast, while I’m happy to hear some of their voices many of them haven’t aged well and it doesn’t help that the animation especially for Rogue and Storm looks terrible. I was right and this was just the first episode ends with magneto in Xavier’s office and we see him levitating the picture that fell when the basketball broke into the office. I guess no one cleaned that up because the ball and glass are still on the floor and we can clearly see the same dam picture on the wall already. How the hell did no one catch that

The show is definitely perfect but the only thing I don't like or feel comfortable with is Rogue X Magneto because it's just really unnecessary and super uncomfortable. Otherwise I absolutely love X-Men 97'

I watched the original X-Men. I was about 10 when it ended. I loved it. I am a little worried with all the tinkering. Morph is now non-binary. Iceman is gay. Rogue is not that southern bell anymore. I hope the show is good. I'm just not getting my hopes too high.
