I think one part of the video that might be taken out of context and that I didn't explain well is when I said men make up 75% of suicides. Men should be allowed to be vulnerable and show their emotions when they're really feeling down. We've been taught not to. If you feel that way it's not healthy to bottle up your emotions. Let the people around you know how you really feel. You're not alone. That's why I wanted to start off this video being vulnerable, because it needs to be normalized in men. Being vulnerable is a masculine trait in my eyes.

I was there for about an hour and she didn’t pick her head up from her phone once. Normally id go ahead and say something to her anyway but why get involved? I’m happy being single right now. Just find something you’re passionate about and focus on that. You’ll meet the right one eventually. Just be patient. And if that day never comes then just learn to enjoy your own company and be grateful to not have to deal with pleasing anyone but yourself. Things I do alongside NoFap to be just a little bit better: - taking cold shower every single day (even now, when you stay home pretty much whole day by doing this you can go outside your comfort zone), - drinking water instead of sugar drinks, - try to excersise (even a few push-ups in the morning and in the evening is something...), - read everyday (more free time means you have to be occupied more often by doing productive stuff instead of thinking about a relapse), - journalising (by throwing on paper all things about your day you can relax a little and actually see that you're making progress), - meditation (it's a game-changer for me, mental clarity and calmness after every session is something outstanding), - try to learn a new language (just download some simple app and try to do some excersises every day), - limied use of social media (no more dumb scrolling in facebook and instagram, that can be tempting and time wasting), - visualization of yourself being succeeded (before sleep try to visualize yourself winning, beating your weaknesses, tell yourself that you can do it), - try to eat healthier.

One reason we may act the way we act is because we are hurt, and wounded, we are not being trained and taught on how to cope with life stress, emotional traumas and personal needs that are not being met. We want the easy way out of pain. We deny pain. We try to not feel pain. So we look for pleasures. We try to heal a deep wound by putting on a bandaid. Meaning we succumb to self destructive behavior that produces a lot of dopamine to get by, that includes uncontrollable gaming, drugs, binge watching tv, masturbation, porn, binge eating and much more. We distract ourselves from the real problem. The brains main function is to keep us alive, not to make us happy. We on the other hand want to be happy and will do things knowing that it may harm us and not keep us alive. Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Allow me to remove the straw from your eye,’ when look! a rafter is in your own eye? You are just like the rest of us. Instead of pointing fingers and shaming others, apply that to yourself and be a good example for your family and friends, that will get you farther than what you’re doing here buddy.

@_jeff _ Typically, men set the temperature for societal norms and expectations. However, in recent years, I've seen a trend emerge where men have reneged accountability and are blaming women for their own lack of alpha masculinity, leadership, purpose, vision, and dominance. As a single hetero/feminine woman, I am telling you that we are craving normalcy, traditional courtship, romance and dominance from our men. Get your balls back from wherever they are and lead us properly. Be forthcoming and purpose driven when dating us. I don't know what happened to traditional men (I honestly think there are hormones in the food, but we won't go there😅) but I'm going to tell you straight, men need to practice being masculine, surround yourself with positive male influence. I can’t help but feel that people made porn so easy to access on purpose. Men like us get curious as teens and search up porn. All we have to do is click “Yes, I’m 18” and we’re hooked. I’m a 16 year old male and I got hooked when I was 11. Between then and now I’ve managed to quit porn multiple time, my highest up to about 3 months, but I got depressed due to not being able to do what I loved during quarantine. Once I was able to finally find myself again, I got depressed again but for different reasons and got hooked on porn again. Starting 2022, I’m going to quit it for good, because it can really destroy your life, especially as a teen male. In fact, it has destroyed my life for the past few years because I haven’t been able to enjoy anything as much as I used to. It’s time for us to prove that we are stronger than people want us to be. Good luck to all you other men struggling with the same issue. Godspeed.

Lots if guys work out so that they look good. There's nothing wrong with that, but those guys are missing the bigger picture. Looking good is just a bonus. Working out and staying fit itself boosts the confidence of both men and women. We can think more clearly, we don't get acne because we eat healthy and live in our optimal physical shape, we don't get constipated because we are hydrated. Working out isn't just lifting weights, it's also getting good sleep, eating right and drinking lots of water. And that gives us confidence. Knowing that you, YOU overcame all those obstacles and stepped out of your comfort zone to improve yourself - THAT gives you more confidence, more attractiveness, and most importantly more LOVE and ACCEPTANCE for yourself. Working out is 80% mental benefits and 20% physical in my opinion. But even though I say all this, I'm not really doing so good myself right now. I'm trying to get off porn and focus on my studies. Stay healthy, strong, and more importantly - self-accepting, brothers.

Finally you came to the topic I was waiting to hear. We, as a man, are struggling in this manner way more than ever before, and i am saying this through my observations of my own self and also everyone around me (and I am not even including the people who bring this topic of being "weak" or having no drive over and over on internet by themselves), I am seeing the same pattern of weakness (being comfortable on where they are, not having any goals or ambitions (that also bothers them themselves), not having any willingness to take any responsibility that they need to take) and all are mostly related to short term pleasure/quick gratification things (such as porn and excessive masturbation, processed sugar, internet addiction or any other pleasure giving actions, that gives pleasure instantly). Instead of taking time to dedicate on finding who you truly are, what you love, exercise/take care of yourself, and take on your responsibilities of your life (which in turn will be beneficial in the future), find a partner you desire, or learn anything valuable/enjoyable - instead of these, short term gratification is chosen. So, that's why it needs to be adressed way more frequently and should be explained way more in depth, so it gets to anyone, who needs to hear it (including myself). So, thank you for making this vid man, great job!

No it’s not. Porn usage has been on the rise way before this “pandemic”. Sure, this year it’s probably increased due to loneliness but the current economic situation isn’t the true cause. The true cause is easy access to porn and human nature. As humans we want the highest reward for the littlest effort. Why put in all the months or even years of hard work to get the gorgeous women when you can just open porn and have her right now, since your brain can’t tell the difference between a real experience and an imaginary - it sees porn and real sex as the same. So no this current pandemic isn’t the true cause dude.

It’s very easy to be ensnared in the trappings of the modern society nowadays, and when you least expect, every day, you’re drawn closer and closer into an ever-expanding rabbit hole which in reality, and not in the moment, ruins your well-being. It’s truly saddening how it makes you feel. You feel drained, lost of purpose, and when combined with preexisting mental health issues, it’s frankly just crippling. You’ve encouraged me to do more, and I’m sure countless others will follow years after this has been published. Good work mate ;)

You have to think every time you do something and ask yourself "what value this adds to my life, what my life will look like if I continue doing this". Make sure decisions and actions you take add value to your life and make you closer to your goals. It already seems clear, that you have to set some goals. Period

@Pen Bashiro, MD Lmao. Maybe what you've said is true regarding a lack of science backing, but you don't need science to tell you that quitting porn has significant life benefits. You said there's no such thing as "porn addiction"...say who? Where are you getting your information from, sire? Whether or not you watch porn is nobody's business. Men around the world are improving themselves by quitting porn and adopting better life habits. You only need to look at the personal testimonies of men on the Nofap community to know that quitting porn provides significant benefits. You realize that there are books written on the subject of porn and some of its effects, yeah? Tf are you saying?
