I had to change my number several times just to get away from a narcissist. Upon getting therapists involved turned out NPD was only a small part of the issue, they ended up slammed with a psychopathy diagnosis instead. So I only ended up partially able to fend them off. I am still tackling other claims and desperately trying to get a restraining order. It's been a nightmare and I'm very happy they ended things. I feel so free knowing I did the right thing by not begging for them back or settling for less. Super manipulative and toxic. Thank you Lee for answering my question about this person which is "Why?" I was always wondering "If this person is so done with me, why do they cling to me?" This gave closure and I appreciate so many questions I thought would be unanswered providing clarity and context when they were vague all the time.

Similar experience here. Went to therapy twice, both psychologists insisted on "thats not a covert narcissist, thats an introverted psychopath" Finally I had read so much I had to admit they were right. Introverted psychopath with schizophrenia. As you, I've fought for a restraining order but my reports are as most other womens, being closed bc in sweden it's so crime fillled, they dont even have time to solve murders. I've had to switch of unlisted numbers on my phone (dont reply on numbers I dont know anymore) because one of them (there was two in my case) sent flying monkeys to call me in the middle of the night (drugged up aand drunkened guys to test if I was "faithful") and he hacked all of my social media aswell so I dont even have an email left. He's been on here aswell shutting my comments off and lurking around since "You cant talk to anyone but me, not other women either" ... I just wanted to say you're not alone in this sh*t. ❤ Scandinavian hugs, girl! 😭

When I divorced my narcissistic alcoholic ex husband, I had to block both his numbers because he wouldn't stop harassing me. He showed up twice to my apartment and parked under my balcony for 3 days refusing to leave. Since I blocked his number, he then reported to blowing up my email to let me know what a bad wife I am. I told him we are divorced so "I am not your wife!" His response was,"You're forever my wife!" And continued to tell me to reconcile with him, not because he loved me, but because he wanted to punish me. Leaving that toxic marriage was the best decision of my life!

After many years of dealing with one particular narcissist, i grew to expect him to to the same things over and over. i had gone about 7 months without hearing from him when he suddenly started all over again, after his father took himself out. a little back story here...the thing that he claimed kept us apart was money (too long to explain) He claimed that since he would be getting a lot of money from his fathers estate, we could finally afford to do the things we always had planned. i was most hesitant, as of a year or so prior, his gf called me out of the blue. it was then i knew i had been right all along. so as he love bombed me and all the usual stuff, i began collecting evidence for his gf. i knew at some point she would show back up since after a few months he began the process of ghosting me out of his life, again (yawning, it got old). i was right and recently his gf messaged me and started telling me to leave her man alone. she had a hard time speaking after i sent her a screenshot of him in the shower and my face on video chat watching him lol ive not heard from either one of them since LOL
