Great job Luke, the Wirquin trap looks good, nice to see one being fitted 👍

Anything wirquin is cheap and fails within a few years. Mcalpine for anything wastes

9:09 is that PVA on the ply? Waterproof PVA at least? Might be best using SBR or ditching ply altogether and using "NoMorePly" or Tricoya MDF

Can you tell me why in the uk we don't hot mop showers like they do in usa.

Two Questions mate, do you notch trowel in the tile adhesive and only go to the packer height? Also keep in the packers in place? Much appreciated.

Hi mate, did you silicone the top of the rubber what sits under the tray on the wirquin trap. Usually use mcalpine but the I like the shallow design of this and thinking of converting.

We don't usually silicone the traps no. Only if it's accessible to run a bead round afterwards. The traps are not under much pressure so the rubber is adequate alone. Any trap with screws and a decent quality rubber is a win. Thanks 👍👍

Just a quick question, did you silicone the classi seal back to the water proof boarding? When I used to install bathrooms we always used the classi seal and we silicones it back against the wall. Keep up the good work 👍🏻

Thanks Wayne. To be honest we don't usually when we are fitting waterproof boards but guess it makes sense if we were to tile it. Thank you 👍👍
