Dude I've owned about 40 cars over the years and a few motorcycles and i do all the work myself and i can honestly say that Toyota is definitely way more reliable than the majority of vehicles. It's a fact. I've had Ford v8 gas trucks and even my gt mustang's have had 0 issues with over 100k miles. My chevy while still a decent vehicle had way more. My z28 camaro while fast had a lot of issues. I've only owned 3 Toyotas but I can tell you right now nothing ever went wrong with them . Camry with 130k Tundra with 145k. And now I have a tacoma and 0 issues. As I get older I don't look for bad ass cars anymore. I just want something reliable. Also Toyota had the best resale value and you never have to put money into it. I'd still buy another mustang though. Or v8 f150 . Hondas are good too.

To be fair, 5-speed WRX gearboxes are not strong enough, they simply aren't. The gears are so narrow and thin compared to those in the (later) STi six-speed. :( By all means a weak gearbox affected its 90's contemporaries like the Pulsar GTiR too, but Subaru were still using a similar 5-speed box in the base WRX until the early 10's AFAIK.

Hey, thank you! I saw you in the chat there. Honestly, this parody just sort of came to me. The script wrote itself. I wrote it in a few hours, went out and filmed it in I think 4 hours. And then it took me about 10 hours to edit, but sadly I actually had to edit it twice because I lost the first file to corruption. Second time only took me about 6 to 8 hours I think. Not sure I could ever repeat this stroke of genius hahaha. I had planned to do parodies of other KZbinrs, nicer ones, but I didn't want to become a parody channel. I like Scotty Kilmer, some of his videos are good. That being said, this is hilarious, and on point. Every Auto Tech is knowledgeable about something, some more than others. Scotty doesnt know all, and often uses his experience to pass broad generalizations about brands. Still good info on many of his videos. Plus, he makes fun of himself with the turtle and bird pictures all the time.... makes me laugh. Also love this video.
