The tail lights on the Cybertruck works opposite of cars. When it stops, the lights dim. When accelerating, the lights brighten. This will confuse other drivers.

Even once Foundation Series ends, and adding in the tax credit, Cybertruck will still be $10k more than that. With no tailgate ramp and less range. I'm still saving my money. Cybertruck2 in 2027. Ford Maverick for now.

The sensitivity of the steering is only at very low speeds, to make it easy to steer in parking lots. At higher speeds, the sensitivity decreases. The advantages of steer-by-wire. It also has rear-wheel steering, making those turns even tighter. It also has a 48 Volt low voltage system (rather than 12 Volt), making the wiring harnesses much lighter. With regards to towing capability, the 120 kWh battery is rather on the low side. The Chevy Silverado EV has a battery over 200 kWh! The good news is, the Chevy has a MUCH better range (particularly while towing). The bad news is, it's a ton heavier than the Cyber Truck!! Before you give it back, checkout the electrical (AC) outlets in the bed. There are the usual 120V 20A outlets. However, there is also a full NEMA 14-50 outlet, with 240V at 50A!! Yes, you can use it to charge other EVs! Overall, not a bad first attempt at an EV pickup. I think Chevy will sell more Silverado, for those who like to do long trips while towing. However, for the stylistic statement, and for non-towing applications, the Cybertruck is probably going to sell very well.

A few points. 2:25 it has air suspension and goes up really high with no transmission in the way, so actually much higher than most. 5:20 you can also use the touch screen to change 'gears', that touch panel is a regulatory thing. 8:10 only at low speed does it ramp the steering angle, for turning circles.

Hi Scotty, The overhead PRND is the backup selection. When you put your foot on the brake, the upper left side of the screen displays the F and R for you to select (slide up or down).

Same or ICE vehicles. It is a matter of mass. More mass to move, more energy required for the same distance. I do not believe the CT is for long distances. Your Lowes, or Home Depot are never far away from your home.

Scotty, the steering wheel is so responsive at slow speeds because the car uses steer by wire. That's why the steering wheel doesn't turn that far. At low speeds, slight adjustment to the steering wheel makes sharper turn than it will at high speeds. The truck also has rear wheel steering, which is why such a big truck can make tight turns. There is no mechanical connection between the steering wheel and tires with steer by wire.

@@Dave__f Has 2 redundancy circuits, one full steering on the wroght, and another on the left. If one fails, the other takes over in milliseconds. Faster than most flying commercial airplanes. Google things a little more. Also there are videos on youtube explaining it.

2:20. Sheesh, I’m definitely NOT a fan of the CT but even I know the suspension height is adjustable.. and given the whole bottom is battery I’m fine with it being sealed from the elements. But he’s right about repairablity with respect to the battery. Munro did a teardown on that pack, it’s practically epoxy-potted (although maybe not with actual epoxy) doing any kind of repair on that pack is going to be nearly impossible.

They originally had "fluff" to prevent thermal runaway but the "flufferbots" were too slow for eloon's promised production numbers so he got rid of them and went with the epoxy, which is why they are fire hazards.

Well you won’t need to repair the battery pack. If you are in a accident, pack gets damaged, they Would put in a new one.
