Onision has been the subject of significant coverage here on KZbin. But everywhere here and on Twitter seems to be under the impression that he will be going to jail. I don't believe this is the case. I'll be commenting on this and some of the greater issues with the Chris Hansen investigation in this video, including the recent drama with Shiloh.

Claire Amphlett-Thomas they’ve shared proof of the sent nudes before. It included a picture Kai posted on instagram, but of course that was when he learned how to crop genitalia before sharing a picture. He also shared an exposed chest photo with Sarah, while he’d been wearing a chest binder before. This was no accidental edge-of-frame thing. Google “laineybot nudes proof” for the photos as well as the context that puts them at the time Sarah was still a minor and his foster daughter.

Cats ok will do. Only thing that still bothers me is that because Sarah has Kai laptop there is a suggestion that Kai did not wipe it down properly and Sarah obtained them from there? I personally don’t believe she would but the suggestion is enough to throw doubt 🤔

Claire Amphlett-Thomas I mean by that degree of doubt, she also lived in their house with their electronics. I’m sure she could’ve stolen nudes if she was trying to. Just like Kai could’ve stolen Sarah’s nudes for whatever reason. Or Greg could’ve used Kai’s phone to trap him in a crime for silence and control. Either way, Kai hasn’t responded whatsoever on the topic which is deeply questionable. He also hasn’t talked to the police about it, if the nudes were stolen it should be an open shut case (no source of messages on phones etc). No matter what, we’ll learn the objective truth when the criminal case is completed. Time will tell.

Bo Linton i beg to differ, recently Onision tried to file a complaint to the sheriff’s department about a detective who was interviewed by Chris Hansen, Onision claimed that the detective was defaming him, obviously it got rejected and they said that the investigation is still going. Maybe he won’t go to jail for grooming but he committed numerous other felony’s. doxing, child neglect, possible child abuse, abusive towards past partners, false allegations, harassment against others and marrying an underaged girl in a state where the age of consent is lower. He is definitely going to prison if he doesn’t then he has nothing left to live for, his life is ruined the internet hates him and knows what he is and he won’t be able to get a job.

I think if anything, this story is a good reminder that going directly to the police instead of working with intermediaries is almost always the best path to justice. I'm very sorry to hear that. Unfortunately the justice system is designed to provide convictions only when something is 100% proven to prevent wrongful convictions - and even then we have some. Sometimes it isn't always ethical - ethics vs legality is actually a very interesting discussion. And although we may not get a conviction of your father or Onision now, your testimonies and those of the victims will aid in bringing them to justice when and if they do offend again. Because people like this don't just commit these crimes once - they'll offend over and over again until they're caught. And we can only hope for a very strict sentence for those people when the time comes, and any testimonies will help with that.

It's unfortunate, but true. Hanson has been worse for these girls getting justice than not doing anything at all. Any and all evidence has been left open for his defense to say was all corrupted. All it's done is give Hanson a boost in MUCH needed money on his part because he blew his entire wad from To catch a preditor. He's made bad spending decisions and had devorces. The laptop is completely fucked because all his defense has to say is it went to that pile of shit Vincent. They'll say he planted all of that stuff in it. Which gets Kai off the hook as well. This is the most objective and dispassionate Onision-based video I've encountered on KZbin. It's very well done. I'm a fellow skeptic, which in KZbinSpeak is pronounced 'groomer', 'boomer', 'Greg', Onionboy, blah, blah, blah. The mobs don't want information. They want blood. I’d like to clarify this before my rant, I am NOT a lawyer nor am I a US citizen. However, as someone who’s is working towards joining law enforcement in the US, I’ve used a fair share of reliable sources to do research. Unfortunately, like John Swan states, grooming is not a crime in the United States, this is blatant fact. And as John states, Shiloh will not be able to make a solid case in court against the abuse. And the statutory rape is not a solid case either, because a minor is someone under the age of 16, however a legal adult is someone over the age of 18. It is a very grey area and can be immediately dismissed. The best cases we have that can be presented to the courts is the possession and distribution of CP (him revealing pictures of girls in various states of undress onto the internet after coercing them to send pictures through his forums), incest (I believe Sarah was still his adoptive daughter when he had sex with her when she was 18 and 5 months) though over the age of consent, and they’re not her biological parents, it is still considered incest in federal court. The last possible crime Onion man can be charged for is criminal negligence and (possibly) statutory rape on Skye’s younger sister who was 15 and he was 19/20, so a) Romeo and Juliet law is not applicable (the max is 2-3 years) in this scenario. He was a legal adult while she was legally considered a minor. Another possible case is Kai’s story, but that requires a testimony from either Kai or their father, as well as gather Onision’s statements that contradict his defense. Finally, human trafficking can also be a charge but that may also be dismissed. I hate to inform everyone like this, but unless we can get physical, cold hard evidence, his contradicting statements and every direct victim of these relevant crimes, otherwise we don’t stand a chance in court.

Onision has a lot that can explain away these accusations, and because the public thought it was a good idea to make multiple reports without sending evidence, no one is actually going to take this case seriously. I truly feel awful for the victims, but there’s not much the law can do at the current state of things.

I Bully Bullies and Giedre Jan, I’d first like to state that I’m not disagreeing with you. However, like John, I’m trying to look at it from an unbiased and legal standpoint. That being said, I believe Kai’s exact words were “we’re Sarah’s legal guardians” which can be both used to support the defense and prosecution. It supports the prosecution in the sense that they can claim that the loose phrasing is giving leeway to the idea of incest then use the text messages between Kai and Grug where they argue over who took Sarah’s virginity to back up their argument. However, if the defense can get the exact documents Kai and Grug signed to prove that this is not the case, then the case can be dropped almost immediately. What Kai did to these young women, was a criminal offense, Kai will get jail time. Grug, however, will not. The charges that I listed were the ones with the highest probability of being able to press charges directly against Grug; that isn’t to say that they won’t be dismissed. Unlike Kai, Grug is a master of deception and manipulation, he’s danced this dance for so long, he can claim anything and use it as a scapegoat. At the moment, as things are, the most Grug will be convicted for is criminal negligence, everything else is too iffy and wishy washy to actually even be considered as being used as evidence to convict him of crimes of that severity. Kai is the one that’s going to get convicted, there is no doubt about that. Though, they are likely to be convicted as if they were a woman because of their physical biology, so even if Kai is convicted, the sentencing will be very lenient to say the least.

I Bully Bullies as much as I wish this were so, unfortunately there just isn’t enough solid evidence. Grug is able to use the fact that his channels are satire, or that the women testifying against him have history of severe mental illness or have suffered some kind of abuse or assault, claiming that they are mentally unfit to make such testimonies to disregard their arguments entirely. Then there’s the issue that even if the police somehow got a hold of his computer with all his archived unedited videos from 2009 onwards, he’s probably done a mass wipe of his computer, erasing any and all evidence from his computer that could warrant an arrest. The police also need a search warrant to take and analyse his belongings, which means that there needs to be sufficient evidence prior, to necessitate a search warrant, which we currently do not have. Plus, the prosecution has the burden of proof, if they don’t have sufficient evidence to convict him, the case can be dropped entirely and all charges can be dismissed.

Look, Kai committed a crime. Onision instructed them to commit these crimes. Aiding & abetting a crime IS punishable in a court of law. Onision may get less time than them, depending on who cuts a plea deal with who, however, Gurgles will be going to jail. One of these (leaked) conversations shows Onision discussing the topic of Sarah's "virginity" with Kai and who they "originally agreed would take it." There are also direct tweets from Kai stating she never wanted a part of these sister-wives style relationships, but "Onision made her." In any other case I may have agreed with you on this statement, however, Onision has literally archived all these blunders for the world to see. He's done this via video, text, websites, etc - I seriously doubt there is not more evidence that will be found to incriminate him. A good lawyer will be able to take Onision's entire life, put it on the chopping block using this evidence, and argue a pattern of repetitive actions & intent.

@I Bully Bullies where did I ever say that? And all the women can hurt their potential cases with everything they've posted online, not just Shiloh. Even posting details of case info and testimony info can be used against them. The US has only a 3% prosecution rate for cases like this. Most get dropped, or the abuser doesn't see jail time. With the low rate of cases going through its even worse to use social media, prosecution will use it against them and pick them apart. Unfortunately the odds are in Greg's favor. And they are making it easier for him. They shouldn't be on social media until after potential cases are done. It's too risky. Cases can also be dropped if they think the victims are in collusion from speaking to each other and giving details to each other.

Also in regards to the "FBI investigation", Investigations take up resources. Resources are limited and will be allocated to higher priority cases first. In onisions case there is no-one in immediate danger (The welfare of his children is not the remit of the FBI) and although in the eyes of the anti-o community this case is a big deal, In the grand scheme of things this is just not that important. No law enforcement agency is going to invest much time and money into this and for chris Hanson to lead people to believe they will is just wrong.

Thank you for this great video. I’ve been on a few and pointed out issues with due process many times. Leading to some constructive talks and also leading down rabbit holes I had to fight to get out. My personal favorite with Shiloh case that “she talked to someone” about. When I did the math her cases are far beyond the statue limitations. Found out don’t bring that fact up. It’s like carrying one of my game collections in a wet cardboard box, the bottom falls open and you lose everything suddenly.

Crossing state lines to sleep with Shiloh onision said he was "cleared" by the authorities. Would there not be a police report then?! Witnesses? I agree there's more tangible evidence against Kai.The reason Greg keeps saying Kai's the victim but she was possibly groomed by him, alleged abused by him ( that's an assumption tho, judging by what is seen on camera- shaving heads, filming a seizure ect and his treatment of ex- wives/gfs may have been done to Kai as well) and Onision was the puppet master behind garnering young women to come fly out and stay with them coercing them all to have sex. A judge will side with a minor over a 30 yr old adult man. You don't think a prosecutor would have a field day asking why they're flying minors out to their home to live with them to only to have sex with them later, 5 months after turning 18? ( meaning Sarah) Also, including the prior transmission of explicit photos when she was a minor? If it's just Kai, why is Onision included in these sexcapades? And Regina. Nudes sent to her, as well as talk of Greg's " size." Sarah stated in the Billy the fridge stream she was waiting for them ( chain of custody) to contact her to drop off the laptop where they want it. She also said she's 1000% sure there's CP on it. I could continue as well. I agree, there has to be proof.That goes without saying. It's all speculation at this point. None of us are attorney's and just asking ( my aunt and uncle are both attorneys and my cousin is interning with Ted Cruz and in law school) I would have to have them sit and watch and explain every bit of this for them to give me any kind of intellectually honest unbiased opinion. Nobody has time for it in my life. The last thing I'm going to say is, I think it's unfair for every channel to make money (which is all good and fine!) but somehow these young women cannot? Simply asking for a laptop is not much comparatively. There are channels solely based on this Onision content alone. If people want to donate, then who cares? Why does that matter? What's it to anybody? They have to find out where Sarah goes to school because she is requesting what? a $500 laptop? That's ridiculous! I think it's time to leave people alone. Let the law do it's job. Let people make their content, let the girls get donation's. Nobody is canceled. Onision still has ways to get paid. The court of public opinion have the right to have that opinion. Bottom line, I'm sure we will all find out in due time. What legal ramifications he receives, if any, we will all find out sooner or later. Until then, I don't know but I'm praying for some justice.

Just because I hate Onision, and I really do, doesn't mean that I'm team Shiloh or team Sarah. I don't believe over half the shit Shiloh says (I grew up in a family who practiced medicine and a shit ton of what she claims either isn't possible or really doesn't make sense and would be unlikely) and Sarah seems to really be loving this attention right now. I do want these women to have justice if there was a crime committed against them, and I do believe that there was but... just because they may be victims, it doesn't negate their entitled attitude that they have been throwing around lately. They act like the public owes them something. They seem to think that if you don't agree with their stance on something, you are just as evil as Onision.
