Noah Katz is the worst kind of CEO. He's egotistical, unprofessional and wants to be the centre of attention at all times. His company, Artesian Builds, was very successful due to collaborations on Twitch, and that's where he went live and destroyed the entire company within 5 minutes. It was one of the greatest displays of arrogance that Twitch had ever seen - and today, we're gonna explore the destruction and aftermath of Artesian Builds.

The second apology video is so freaking hilarious because you can tell he is struggling saying the very things he is, no wonder he altered his voice and furrowed his brow. The sigh before acknowledging giving his builds to anyone is the icing on that whole cake. It's just a mask on a man who wouldn't have changed anything because his Ego wouldn't let him.

Calling out people live on stream for not being eligible for sponsorship is like firing someone with a megaphone in the town square. Who the hell thinks publically roasting affiliates is a good idea, the entire point is good PR, not the exact opposite.

The attention he was getting obviously went straight to his head. Even small amounts of attention can do weird things to certain people, especially if they already have a strong sense of self-importance. It's almost like it affirms what they’ve "known all along". And then...the polite social facade comes crashing down. You can even see it in his body language as he clicks with an ostentatious flourish on to the next potential "worthy" contender. It's frankly just gross to behold. Sadly, I highly doubt this guy learned his lesson. People like him have an inflated sense of self-importance and I'll wager that to this day he thinks he really didn't do anything wrong. He'll just need to be "more careful" next time. If there even is a next time... 😉

How is it even legal to not issue refunds by filing for Bancrupcy in the US..
@Wulfpack1

Its because Bankruptcy is only for the rich that want to get away from paying their bills, refunds and employees. It costs money to claim bankruptcy and poor people dont have that initial money on hand. These rich people are never actually broke. They just dont want to pay and put the money in other family members names or shell companies. Donald Trump did it 6 times and never paid for countless contractors and debtors.

hilariously, if he hadn't rerolled it, Artesian would probably be heralded as a W company and record higher profits than previous quarters over it. Because it's not every day a small streamer gets a new fresh fancy PC from a big company.

The story of atlesian builds is a cautionary tale to companies who treat their employees and ambassadors like trash and it always end in bankruptcy and imprisonment.
@ViperPilot16
@ViperPilot16 2 жыл бұрын
The whole "This streamer isn't large enough of an ambassador" thing is just total BS. I agree you don't want to give out a computer, then why did you sign them as an Ambassador then? If they can't win in your own giveaway then what's the point, they might as well be a normal viewer. Also the CEO is acting like other companies don't stream their builds. I know it's not common, but doesn't Origin stream their builds?
@KamilG225

Lmao I remember when I watched their stream for the first time and it was right in the middle of this moron going in on people. I was mind-blown and couldn't believe they hired some awful presenter for their stream. Then I found out he was the CEO and knew it was a sinking ship instantly.

Yep. Getting even a modicum of fame can do weird things to people. I remember when SidAlpha got a big boost in subs (he was well under 100k subs before) when he got embroiled in the whole Alex Mauer affair back in 2017. He got some mentions by the likes of Jim Sterling and TotalBiscuit and his subs jumped by several thousand. Then, someone who used to be really mellow and actually reviewed games suddenly started acting like they were smarter than anyone else and almost exclusively went after "dirty devs". More often than not, he would actively seek out and goad people who usually obviously suffered from mental issues, just to get a reaction out of them for content. This started with Mauer, who he literally harrassed despite the bigger Tubers who had mentioned Sid warning people not to do so since Mauer was borderline suicidal. Nowadays, his content has dwindled and usually consists of him complaining about being "targeted". At one point, it even began affecting his day job. It's so sad to see someone who used to be a fun and mellow person become this ravenous attention seeking thing. I still stop by his channel from time just to see if he's mellowed out, but sadly he still hasn't recovered. 😕 On a smaller scale, once some friends of mine saw a small Twitch streamer and all hopped into his channel (bringing the viewer count to about 10 people) to offer him encouragement and pump him up a bit. It was like he became another person. He started literally roaring and behaving erratically, just like what I imagine he thought other more popular streamers were like. It was kind of disturbing, TBH. Anyway, yeah, mass attention can do weird things to people. It's very similar to suddenly coming into a large sum of money. It does something mentally to some people that can lead to odd and often self-destructive behavior. It's sad. So, let this be a warning to others. Be VERY careful if you ever get a little fame. Just be cognizant of your behavior. Take a step back, take a deep breath, and ask yourself if what you're doing is constructive. Take care and be careful out there. Peace. 😎🤘☮️🌈

How much do we think there monthly cash stream generated? No wonder he expressed his frustration with the ambassador. They should’ve at least shipped out anybody who ordered a new PC that was even “partially built” already. I’m sure these people would’ve rather had that instead of nothing for all of the money they lost and weren’t getting back. They could at least maybe sell or use the partially built PC and recoup some of the money they already paid for a new completed computer….. Wendy a disaster this turned into

If they go bankrupt and into liquidation they're required by law to pay off secured creditors first, then preferred unsecured creditors (this includes employees), then after that the non-preferred unsecured creditors (i.e. customers, among others) are entitled to get a portion of what they are owed based on what's left over. From what I've seen so far it looks like they aren't even able to pay employees what they're owed
