Man its crazy how Manny is 42 years old and he is still in talks in beating the top dogs in the welterweight division. Manny isn't even a natural welterweight too and can easily move down to 140 right now but he choses to stay 147 fighting the bigger guys and a generation above him. It just shows his greatness and his right to say that he's arguable the best pound for pound fighter of all time.

If Gamboa and Kavaluaiskas gave Crawford big problems, just imagine what Pacquiao with all his skills, experience (not to mention his still formidable speed and power) would do to Bud. Yep it could still go either way depending on which Pacquiao (or Crawford) shows up on that night but as many great boxers found out to their detriment, Pacquiao is like the Gordion Knot. The only way to uncoil this tenacious maze is to literally destroy it, which is easier said than done.

Same with Kavaluaiskas but Crawford is patient and will make you commit errors eventually. But apart from a damaged Kell Brook, Bud has never really fought anyone yet on his level.

His 8th division at superwelterweight was for a vacant belt against Marg at a catchweight at 150 lbs... He fought De La Hoya at 147 when he was a 160lber and at the end of his career. Fought Mosley at the end of his career. Fought Barrera at the end of his career. Fought Thurman after his terrible fight with lopez. The only LEGENDARY fighters that he fought that were in or close to their primes were Marquez, Morales, and maybe Cotto (who was weight drained). Other good names are Bradley. Its also been documented that pacmans team did not want any part of Crawford. Just google it and there will be a lot of results regarding it.

Many of his legendary names were picked at a time when they weren't at their best. Crawford doesn't have any legendary names on his resume. What makes Pacman such an entertainment powerhouse is because his style is aggressive but also very technical. Something both the casuals and boxing nerds alike really appreciates. Just like from what I heard, when Pacman tries to throw a punch, his body gesture felt more like he is about to throw a kick. His small stature and short reach made his moves really more dynamic

Who else throws 10 punch combinations with such speed and power. I've been watching Manny since his rise many years ago. He is one of my favorite fighters. He's speed, power and ring IQ are up there with any of the greats. The only 8 division world champ in history. And what a success story. Went from eating out of trash cans to being a GOAT and a Senator. And one of the most humble fighters ever.

Oscar DLH said that one word that you said relentless I have never heard that about another boxer think about that an opponent who is constantly on offense how can anyone beat him. You know that last guy who knocked him out knew it would never happen again and didn't give a rematch. He will change for his opponent. And everyone knows that he won against Gayweather. I saw Evander right after the fight and said Manny won. I saw a video of him doing those face to face what is it face off. And every time they both laughed. He is a really good man. One of his people who work for him stole from him and he forgave him how can you not like this guy. If he was American more people would like him. Instead of a little 5 foot 5 guy from the Philippines. Truly the GOAT.

@@coryburns9161 Are you talking about Jaun Manuel Marquez that KOed Pacquaio? I assume you are because that's the only time anyone put Manny to sleep. And that was their 4th fight. Manny came in too aggressive and walked right into Jaun's right hand and put Manny face down. Manny changed his style after that KO. As for the Mayweather fight I probably watched it 8 times. 3 times in slow motion. I can see an argument for Floyd winning by just being the smarter boxer. But I can also see an argument for Manny winning by aggression, work rate and on points. The problem with Manny's style is he has to setup before he throws. Floyd picked up on that and would shoot a jab every time Manny came in and started to setup which interrupted Manny's timing. This along with Floyd's defense didn't allow Manny to land power shots. Very high level technical fight.

Great video! Really enjoyed your in depth analysis. I agree 💯 percent that Pacquiao would beat Crawford by decision. 2009 Pacquiao would've KO'd him. Crawford is a great fighter but is overrated in my opinion. He's never been tested by a TOP fighter. Pacman has proven himself time and again

But bob instantly started with the excuses, manny wants too much money, manny is too old, manny may get brain damage, bud doesn’t draw enough to pay manny the money he deserves.
