Putin gave Trump the plan when they met with only the translator/note taker present. Then after the meeting, Trump took the notes that had previously always gone into government files. Then Trump took the GOP to Camp David for the weekend and laid it all out to them, and now they are trying to put it all in place just like Russia did. Everybody check your voter status, especially if you're in a R controlled state! I have voted in every election since before I moved here (30 years ago), and never missed an election in this state, yet when I checked I was NO LONGER on the voter roll. Last year I re-requested mail ballot as newly required by the DeSantis rule. The new requirement and the fact that I never received a primary ballot made me suspicious enough to check my status. Pain in the butt to re-register, but I'm sure glad I caught it. Makes me wonder if the 'D' had anything to do with it. As it turns out, I usually vote in person these days bc Repubs look for any excuse to dis-count mail-in ballots.

I was so very angry! I felt personally violated. She had left a phone message, and didn’t talk to me in person. I left her a phone message in reply, telling her she had no business calling me to “verify” my voting information, and told her she should stop calling people. In North Carolina i am registered “Undeclared”. I come from California. This is my 2nd year here in NC. I’ve been surprised at the lack of political mail (compared to CA) and wonder if this is the result of my undeclared. I am getting a lot of telephone calls that i never pick up after the majority were trying to sell/defraud me something. I did get 2 pieces of political mail a week after the primary. I don’t remember if it was for the reps or dems side of things. Just remember the head USPS is a Trump appointee. I would never (and have never) mail my ballot back. I always carry it to the polling location preferably the police station if one is there.

Mesa, in maricopa county did not take to the armed ballot watchers and it helped pull from the crazy side. And our local postpeople picked up the slack for people afraid to turn in their ballots. Ballots mailed the day before election got to the polls.

I have tried repeatedly to get onto my county's voter poll watchers, but every time I have been told thank you, but no. Missouri is so deep MAGATE that the idea of having a Democrat watch polls is foreign to them. How do I get around hate?

Contact your County Democrat organization, then your State Democrat organization. They can help. If you live in a city with over 50,000 people, start with the City Democrat organization.

Suppressing the vote is a stated strategy for the GQP to compete in future elections. I always vote democrat, but I'm registered as an Independent for this very reason - I don't trust the voting apparatus in Florida not to target me for purging from the voter roles if I was a registered democrat. Does that make sense? Having said that, I'm definitely going to check my registration and request my mail-in ballot early to verify I'm still eligible. We desperately need UNIFORM FEDERAL standards for how states conduct elections or our democracy could die.

I reregistered my voting profile when I moved in Phoenix Arizona. A guy sitting out in front of a Walmart was registering voters in 2020.I turned in my paperwork to him 1 month BEFORE the election. 2 weeks later I called the local voter registrars office to see if they received my change of adddress information. They had not,I resubmitted my information stream & was assured my ballot would arrive in time.1 week after the election I received my ballot. DID I MENTION I SIGNED OFF AS AN INDEPENDENT.?

I moved from Michigan to North Carolina in late Oct. 2023. We vote a lot in Michigan, not just for periodic state and national elections but also for school boards (separate dates each year), county officials, referendums, etc. For the two years before I moved, I got regular mailings from some organization I'd never heard of telling me my voter records showed I failed to vote in a local school board election, but otherwise was perfect. Huh? I even asked a friend who was a local election official; she'd never heard of the organization either and thought the reminder was weird. Thanks to today's program I have an idea this was a Republican election rolls fishing expedition. Thank you!
