Jalon was the last of the trio to get into a relationship and I always valued his wisdom on relationships. A wise person is a wise person whether in a relationship or not. Single people with God-given wisdom definitely have opinions that matter!

I totally agree with this! I’m still single currently, however, I was married previously, but my current married friends all come to me for advice

You should use discernment when taking advice from anyone - single or married. Just because someone is single doesn’t mean they can’t give you sound advice. And most advice comes from personal experiences…. Relationships aren’t one size fit all. Some people actually learn from their mistakes

This!! Discernment does play a big factor! Because sometimes married people will be unhappily married, and give you advice from a broken place. So it’s best to always seek council from someone that you trust, regardless of their title or relationship status.

i think its funny that now that all of the men are engaged/married, its now "single ppls opinions dont matter". when jalon was "single and also had a kid before marriage" but his opinion still mattered to the viewers. hmmm, have to disagree. i understood where they were coming from but also thought it was degrading to alot of single viewers.

Hey there, I usually enjoy your content, but I found your comment about a single person's opinion holding no value to be a bit degrading. Many partnered people can give terrible advice because they're unhappy in their relationships, while single people often offer an objective viewpoint. It's similar to saying someone without a child can't have a valid opinion on child welfare. If your circle includes people who don't want the best for you in your relationship, then it's simply a matter of them not being good people-regardless of their relationship status.

As a single man, I offer relationship advice but it’s more so all types of relationships. Main thing that talk about is being considerate to your partner or other ppl . I can’t ever speak for some else’s relationship because I’m not in that but based off a lot of relationship I’ve been in and seen and hear from ppl, a main issue is “if you don’t want it done to you, don’t do it to them”

Two things can be the true at one time fellas ❤ not everyone have “great intentions” on others relationships (could be bitter, lonely, etc) but I also have those few single friends that reminds me of the value of being married ☝🏽it’s really about WHO the single friend is, because I’ve had peers(military married friends)who opinions and views of marriage is not in alignment with me and my husband’s beliefs/goals.❤

I love these thought-provoking conversations, but I disagree. Single people's opinions do matter if they are coming from the right person. There are married people operating single and giving bad advice because they aren't happy. I am single and always encourage my married friend to try to work things out when she goes through a rough patch in her marriage. You gentlemen are talking from a healthy place. There are a lot of broken people in relationships, so their opinion might or might not matter either.

Wildly classist and mean to say she’s “post mates girl”. Even if I ran into an ex under those circumstances there’s a way to succinctly address it wo being classist or mean (not to mention the fact that she could be doing post mates for any number of reasons - to save more quickly for a home etc).

The overall concept is we were all single at some point and once we get into a relationship, perspectives change. The ones who are single, still have the same mindset that is all about them. While in a relationship, you have to consider the other person. I stopped seeking advice about dating and relationships from single women because there’s too much hypocrisy. They advise what you should do, but wouldn’t do the same in their situation. If someone was in a long term relationship/marriage, but now single and healed, they might be a good source of advice. Basically use single advice for what not to do 😂💯

Wisdom is wisdom…Ive seen both sides and know single people who honor God and family and married people with just the title and no honor. This would also imply that all the knowledge Jalon was giving while single was invalid.

I don’t know Jalon, I typically love your opinions and values but were they not valid until just recently when you put a ring on Brittany’s finger? 🤔 Be wise counsel and a resource for possibly giving other men clarity to knowing it’s possible to find their wives. It just starts with inner work. I know things get black & white when you find your person. But as you all agree the dating world can be treacherous, so yes he may aspire to be where you are but don’t discount his opinion for not being there yet.

If you really believed that first statement was true jalon that means that’s every piece of advice you’ve given on this show before 2 years ago was invalid and didn’t matter because you were single. And that’s not true.Like many other people are saying. It’s about the intention and the action and in said single persons life. You could have your head screwed on straight and still be single and you can be married and have a life full of chaos and destruction.

Why are people defending single advice for couples? There are many married counsellors and dating mentors so why are we focusing on singles for married people? If you need a doctor, vet, electrician, plumber, etc, who do you go too? This should not be offensive to singles. There’s a lot more being said here!

Very true there’s people that say you shouldn’t be married and you should cheat on your wife but they always come from single parent households so I don’t even take dudes from single parent household serious. Most men want their women to be their moms. most men that like to be “husband sons” to their mom but dog out their women like that didn’t happen to their mom in the first place. Who’s Andrew’s tate wife to be talking crazy who’s fresh n fit wife to be talking crazy none of these guys have proof of women consistently staying in their life. But i get the issues with marriage because of the laws…. A perfect marriage is a marriage that no side has the advantage to leave and get benefited more. That way you can authentically grow together.

Im sorry, this is a very odd, illogical take. Jalon, was all your advice over the years not valid because you were single? Bad advice can come from anyone. You must use discernment with all advice, as bad advice can come from just about anyone. Yes, some single individuals give terrible advice because they're selfish. But we also must keep in mind that not everyone in a relationship is in a healthy one. Therefore simply taking advice from a couple, simply for the fact that they're a couple, isn't wise.

TBH, when Duke posted in his stories a while back about the mixer and said something along the lines of “if you’re tired of masculine women come to our event”. It was THAT day that I looked at you guys a little differently and it’s a little sad. You guys have almost done a complete 360. A lot of your content as of lately has been turning into the podcasts that we can’t stand. Within the past few episodes and actually for a while you guys have misconstrued situations to give your opinion without even understanding the situation itself because it’s not coming from a woman’s perspective. You guys barely respond to the comments anymore because they look the way they do. Single People have learned lessons in their relationship relationships that they can share with their friends. It’s valuable if it can be used positively. You guys need episodes where y’all just talk about men and what they do to women because if you’re having conversations with them, if you’ve been and if you have healthy relationship relationships with your women who can tell you what has been happening, y’all have enough content to do something with that I’m sure.
