Anyone who calls an LFA overrated has an issue with their own vehicle never being on such a level. Hell the 1LR-GUE earned its place in Yamahas museum and qualifies as a musical instrument. It’s hype will never drop.
@2seep Жыл бұрын
The LFA is overrated. It’s just a good exhaust made by Yamaha put on a v10. If Yamaha made exhaust, many other cars would sound better. It’s made by Yamaha so obviously it’s in their museum.
@2URLex Жыл бұрын
@@2seep sounds like a hater to me. You have a problem with giving credit where it’s due, this car is purpose built right down to its tactile features. Especially when it’s a car people can’t afford by normal means. They’re proud of what they built is why it’s in a museum, Yamaha built other engines for companies like Volvo and Ford too ya know. Now Infiniti is overrated lol
@2seep Жыл бұрын
@@2URLexI’ve never said that the LFA wasn’t a good, it’s an amazing car. People just elevate it above it’s status, the only thing that the LFA has going for it is high revs and sound, many better cars out there which provide a much better driving experience. And why even mention Infiniti? Infiniti is rightfully rated, it’s shit now used to be good, but not any more, but they do come out with amazing an amazing car every once in a while

Speeding laws across Canada are brutal. In British Columbia you can get impounded for 40km/h over the limit. On top of that our speed limits are very low around cities, as low as 80kph in on some 4 lane highways. You have your car taken away for 75 mph on those stretches, even when it's perfectly safe.
@longhornduck Жыл бұрын
I'm also from the lower mainland. I got impounded going 151kmh in an 80zone. Point I'm trying to make is and what they don't tell you is 41+ kmh is excessive speeding. So keep it at 40 and you'll be alright😇

Canadian here. Out east, the laws are tight. But in bc, it's a joke. Radar detectors are legal. Say you were doing 200 mph down the highway, didn't pass anyone, and did nothing illegal other than speeding. For the first offense, it is a 1 week impound, $600 ticket, and if you're a resident bf bc, there is a 3 year dangerous driver penalty on your insurance which is $300/year. In all it costs about $2000. And no criminal record either lol.

One day I will have two of these cars. That way I can bring a friend on canyon drives to enjoy it alongside me. In my opinion, this is the best work of production automotive machinery we’ve ever gotten. But I’m also biased and enthralled with the creators of LFA, and how unlikely it was for that car to become reality. The LFA is a love story between the car and our passion for them. It’s spirit ascends any monetary price given to it. Priceless. I can’t wait for the day my dreams, effort and persistence transmute themselves into reality.

That SF90 at the beginning though 👀 As much as I loved the whole video, I condemn the 8:15 "etiquette". For whatever reason people notoriously do it in northern part of Poland but I have never seen anyone doing this in southern part (possbily because shoulders in the north are so wide you could easily use them as lanes). It is genuinely terrifying to cycle on the side of the road up there. Even worse when there are left turns to some restaurants etc. and you stop as close to the left edge of your lane and you have trucks not slowing down a bit, going ~80 km/h to your right. In my life I have been to the north for less than a year in total and I have witnessed way too many accidents & close calls caused by slow drivers using shoulder to let a whole ass traffic jam pass them, being then blocked from merging back into the lane when there was an obstacle or someone using the shoulder and caused by people using shoulder to blast through with speeds of around-the-speed-limit 90 km/h so they don't have to stop/slow down. It is a nice thing to move out of the way using the shoulder, but I highly recommend using a bus stop/parking lot to do so. But if you want to do it regardless, please make sure you have a clear line of sight in front and behind you so that you don't suddenly find yourself being metres away from a cyclist/pedestrian in front while going 10x as fast as they do and with your left being blocked by a faster driver. Thanks for coming to my pep talk.

The Lexus LFA: it is too expensive, is not the fastest, the gearbox is a bit clunky, handling is not the best and the interior is, well... not the prettiest. Have a look at the navigation screen. But that V10 sound makes up for all of that, big time. I can imagine that your face still hurts because of the enormous smile you must have had all day.
