Slower than a Porsche?!? The Jag is the same weight (the RWD V8 is 200 lbs lighter) as a 911 with 200 more ft lbs of torque. Its a full second faster than a 911 to 60 mph (check Dragy). And Rs commonly sell new under $80K, check the dealer ads on Autotrader. You can watch the fuel level drop if you step on it, but you can avg 31 mpg in 8th on the hwy with the V8, which is geared for idle RPM at 70 mph, or 327 mph at redline. Also, the top can go up to 50 kpm, or 30 mph. It takes 4 secs to put the top down lower than the windshield, which is uncanny fast. Great review, overall.

Why cover the additional space in the boot with floor mats while complaining how small the boot is? 🤷🏻‍♂️ Also, the idea that Jaguar “used to be a British company and then it was bought by TATA motors” well... whoever owns the company, it’s a British company! HQ remains in Coventry, it’s heritage and soul are in the UK, just like Rolls-Royce is owned by BMW but will never be a German company. If you want to claim JLR is an Indian company, stand by to see sales plummet. TATA bought it from Ford - so was it an American company? Naaaah 🤣🇬🇧

Leaderboard #834 at 4.72 secs to 60 mph The Jag F-Type R is uploaded too: 1. Jaguar Leaderboard run #2 at 2.96 secs to 60 mph and 2.81 secs with the standard 1-ft roll All three runs are verified by the Dragy hardware device, which means: irrefutably valid, 100% plotted start and finish matching GPS altitudes, recorded DA, plotted velocity every 1/100th of a mph, longitudinal G recorded every 1/100th of a sec. A GT4 takes twice as long to 60 mph. That makes perfect sense since F=MA, or Acceleration=Torque/Weight and the F-Type has more than 2x the torque of the GT4 at about the same weight. In fact, a 2015 F-Type R has more torque delivered to 1 wheel than there is torque delivered to every wheel of the GT4, combined

The F-Type kills a tuned 911 GT2 RS: Exact same Dragy time to 60 mph, but if you look closer the Jag has travelled 146 ft at that time, the GT2 RS has only travelled 135 ft. That's a light-year over such a blink of an eye. The GT2 RS stands NO chance.

One thing the Jag does better is its 1000x louder and sounds a 10000x better, its 2 seconds faster to 60 mph, its waaaay more luxurious, and more reliable than toyota which is cheap crap. All my toyotas were so weak I stopped buying them.l, couldn't afford them. The Jag never eats money.
