Got my first run in mine yesterday, 11 mile long run, moderate pace. Tried running them ball of the foot, like my SC Elite V2's. Didn't get much back from them. Switched to mid-foot strike, it was like I changed shoes, for me, the roll off is unbelievable. Was able to run, comfortably at a pace well above my 2+ hour 1/2 marathon pace. They did get a bit weighty when wet, (hot Florida day), near the end.

Love the Superblast! And two runs in, the Kinvara Pro is just a joy. Maybe I’ll get to this at some point, but way too many shoes to play with these days!

I agree with you. I bought the v2 for use in marathon training and it really hits all the right notes. Comfortable, propulsive, versatile. In fact I think you're the only reviewer who has been overtly positive about the v2 which has surprised me and I suspect it's been prejudged a little too much. Oh and yes too expensive by far.

Great video. Have been trying to decide between the SC trainer v2 and Superblast, so this helps. I think the superblast might just be a bit more flexible (although I am partial to FuelCell)

This shoe is more expensive than the Superblast, which is overpriced already. For me this is the beginning and the end of discussion. If and when this shoe gets to 160 € I will reconsider it. In the meantime newer and better models will appear.from others. This is how dumb management screws up decent product. Seeing that in my own branch all my life.

@@yogaexe In the EU the price is 220 - 230 €. Superblast is 209 €. The cheapest NB SC Elite 3 I found for 171 €. Which one would you buy? Of course I bought Elite 3. I paid 190 €.
