All of the above. If you worked with the Jedi, you shared in their treason and would be a target. So, not many would simply be asked to leave. But most of the non Jedi would have died.

I think though that this droid would have not only faced Anakin but the 501st with him. How long could the droid have held out against all of them? Would the Jedi have fled? It seems to me that most were determined to stay and defend younglings and/or try to stop the attack. Then what would have happened to that highly sensitive memory chip? Who would have been protecting the lives of those children out there whose families may not even know their kids are on that list?

It's accurate, and awesome that you said there were no droids like this until Disney added them in. Kinda like they've been doing to George's creation ever since they got it. After all Palpatine died on the 2nd death star, and that's how it will always be for me.

I don't have any problem with the droid having just stayed in its room; it was a secret compartment, and exiting to assist the Jedi nay have revealed that location to whomever was attacking. Most droids aren't fully sapient, and able to make such decisions, on their own; their programming provides a hierarchy of orders, and they obey. One extra bit, though; maybe such droids were also dealt with as the Guards had been. In another video, you discussed how the future Grand Inquisitor managed to get rid of the Temple Guard Jedi, so maybe he also deactivated any defense droids?
