What they did with this algo change , and the discussions it spurred up with everyone was awesome and extremely undervalued. Love that they took the time to actually hear us out and take our communities input. I really hope other projects pay attention to this and see the value in staying asic resistant. Does anyone know what gas fees are charged for moving ironfish off the ironfish wallet to an exchange to sell? It doesn't say. There's three choices. slow, medium and fast. but they don't state the fees. Any help would be appreciated.

It did the opposite for me. Instead of gaining from mining Iron fish early when it's supposed to switch to GPU only, all my GPU rigs are mining nothing for maybe up to 8 hrs as the server for Ironfish was not reachable even at the time of writing. Then again, I was using NH Ironfish.

The fork has already happened. Try OC settings for Ethereum Classic, that’s pretty similar to FishHash

So I'm using Nicehash Quickminer on two 4090 rigs. This morning, one is pulling the normal 2.00 plus amount per day but the other is pulling zero for Ironfish when it was pulling the 2.00 plus dollars per day yesterday as well. Does Quickminer need an update on the 2nd pc or is there another issue do you think?

Hi Seb I hope to see a overclock guide on rtx 3 series cards. I tried so many settings on my asus tuf 3070 ti but they wont go higer than 28 MH/S but my Asus tuf 3080 go to 63 MH/S. What am i doing wrong? I mean the 3070 ti must do better that that on ironfish

actually Hiveos updates the miners as I use them. I don't use windows for these tasks.

I still have 20-30 gpus from 2021 era. Mostly 20/30 series with some 6000 series. Electricity is just so expensive where I am.

LHR should not affect this algorithm. All cards will get a significantly lower hashrate after the algorithm change, as it's a completely different algorithm so hashrates will be different. Hope this helps!

So I was using unmineable to mine Eth from there site on ironfish. I have a rtx3050 ti 4gb card. As of 4/2/24, after downloading g the new fish hash algorithm and updating the lolminer all I get is GPU 0: ERROR IN ALLOCATING MEMORY MEASSAGE!!! so my reality is I can't gpu mine on the fish hash algorithm anymore which is BS

Mining itself would never hurt a GPU. What can hurt a GPU is overheating or bad overclock settings. Hope this helps

Well i just sees this video and i wonna do some numbers. So 6card rig 3070s 220mgh/s at 800w from the wall makes 1.77 iron/day. Well ty but no thanks man. The yeald is so low i dont see how this can be good for gpu mining :D
