I've been playing Timberborn for ages and adore the game. However there are two things about it that you did not mention that I feel are important for a review. 1) I don't think you mentioned Badwater which is where a lot of the difficulty comes from, depending on the map. 2) And much more important, this is still an Early Access game. It's currently on update 5 on the stable branch and 6 on the experimental branch. We don't have a good timeline on when full launch will be, or what more features we might get. That said I have over 400 hours in the game right now, and there are streamers making a living playing this, so yeah, you will absolutely get your money's worth picking it up in early access. Still, I feel any review recommending purchase should mention that.
