Amazing! The minute details that I relate to are so numerous. Set a timer was meant to encourage me and I KNOW the encourager thought that my brain or mind did not have the ability to come up with or think of that. Snacking to ignite alertness when food is energy. Caffeine can stimulate but we snack as a desperate attempt to stimulate or make our brain access a dopamine allotment. Getting away and being alone to get a sense of calm when you are an automatic people pleaser learning to disconnect when necessary for survival. I really believe a professional female that has similar manifestations of ADHD and seems to have entered some of the rooms of ADHD that I have entered makes a difference. Next, Small, Right Action. Helps with executing or jumping into transformation. Thanks so much.

Dr. Frank is fabulous at presenting these complex ideas with compassion and empathy. I feel better about my own challenges as a person who lives with ADHD. As a counsellor, I think I am now a bit better equipped to support my clients with ADHD during these difficult times.

Bookmarked this video to come back to it, and in true ADHD fashion didn't get to it for over a year... but even now I am still just as much stuck at home as I was at the beginning of the pandemic, so all of this has helped tremendously in not going further stir-crazy (especially as many people around me are going "back to normal" and I am still having to quarantine for my own health). I tend to fall into a hypoactive state quite often, so the extra tips in the Q&A at the end were also very beneficial. Thanks for another great seminar!
