Go and look at the figures for the 'actively Christian' group around here. Have a seat first, though. You're not going to like it. Without it, Christianity might not have become the dominant religion in Europe and the Mediterranean as quickly or extensively as it did. Why is the story of Moses almost identical to Jesus? A lot of biblical scholars recognize it. We also do not have any evidence of Moses outside of the Hebrew bible. Egyptians kept very good historical notes and there is no reference of Moses there. show me historical documents where jesus as son of god is called by the name outside of the bible. I'll wait.

@@DeathAwaitsYourSoul facts. For me, I was a Christian for close to a year, roughly 10 months. Before, I was agnostic for the vast majority of my whole life (I’m 24). However, now, I’m an atheist. Not a gnostic atheist though, just a regular atheist. Until irrefutable proof is presented which shows me that a god does in fact exist, I will continue being an atheist. If this never happens, well, then I guess I’ll live the rest of my life as an atheist. I realized my mentality became so much better after fully leaving the cult of Christianity. Amanuel's logical fallacy is Argumentum ad Baculum (Appeal to the Stick), which is summarized as "My claim is true because if you say it's false I will hurt you." (Note that he is the victim of the fallacy, not its perpetrator.) It's a variation of the Appeal to Consequences fallacy. The bizarre part is that it works even when the alleged negative consequences are dependent on the claim being true.
