I love it! absolutely nothing to do with a car or driving. ... but will make or break you when you get on the track!

+Tom Sisson I was totally thinking you specifically when I posted this! I knew you'd find something useful in there. You're right, there's so many little mental races to win before even thinking about the track.

This is so accurate and the majority of people don't do it because they think its faster to skip it but they dont understand that they're setting big limitations on themselves by not learning the theory part of what they are interested in

+Mike Marte 100%, Mike. I couldn't have said it any better myself. Natural talent and white knuckle driving have nothing to do with being a consistent race winner. The difference between driving a racecar and being a racing driver is knowledge/implementation. I always say that the long way around is the shortest way there. This topic actually spurred me to write Intelligent Racing, Minimal Spending: The Definitive Introduction To Racing Concepts, a free 13 part series for my site. I hope drivers will use it to make huge gains at the track completely through exposure to theory. If you're interested, have a look at www.howtobecomearacecardriver.com/intro/ Thanks for comment, Mike!
