Makes sense. As someone who’s had three ACL knee reconstructions, they always get you training calves as one of the first things in your rehab.

I’ve torn 4 acl’s in left knee, along with mcl, pcl, cartilage, dislocated patella. Still no intact acl in left knee. First one torn over 20 years ago. Just this year learned that the only thing that has helped has been working calves, hamstrings and squatting with a vertical shin.

Absolutely agree. I take bits and pieces from different people and in this case the knees over toe guy. I do a raise where you leaned over and put hands on the wall - then do raises. Then do them vertically. You can do them both on a smith too once you build up the leaning over one. Also working tibs and hip flexors (reverse squat) and of course the sled walking backwards it’s awesome.
