I’m 38 and my BF is 26. I turned him down several times but he kept pursuing me and now We’ve been together for 3 years. We moved in together two weeks after we met and we’ve never left each other’s side. He just proposed and I said yes. We’ve started a business together, bought a house together, and he’s wise beyond his years. I never thought I could EVER be happy with a younger guy, as I usually dated men 8-15 years or older. But I was wrong, and I would have missed out on the best thing that’s ever happened to me if I had turned him down solely based on his age.

I usually date older, and most of them weren't doing as well as me financially and needed me financially. Most of the men I've dated that were younger were well off financially and treated me well and were chivalrous and let me be feminine and cared for. I'm 41 and dating a man that is 30 now. He is amazing. He is very mature, treats me well, pays for everything, gives me gifts, prays for and with me every night and makes more money than me. He is protective of me and tries to make sure I'm good. I have to tell he doesn't have to do so much for me, but he insists. The narrative you are presenting isn't necessarily true. At least for me.

I have to agree with you, sounds like he isn’t the 100% aware ALL men are different and have different dating experiences or preferences. He also is wrong abt his reason for younger girls liking older guys. I genuinely had a thing for handsome older men and the reason was genuinely maturity and the vague reason that they obviously are truly good looking. Thats his own opinion. I personally started liking older men really young i just loved the idea of it. Unfortunately they didnt find me mature enough. Ladies, I am not with a man 10-15 years older than I, but he brushed me the wrong way too, lol. Yet I see his point that your examples, while true, may be just exceptions from the rule. I want to add that I work with money, and it’s just a barter used to trade things. Aging body, experience, support, spirituality, peace of mind vs. young body, energy, looks, etc. Telling young men not to go for it is akin to telling them not to spend their hard-earned money (note, money in this case is equivalent to time) on sports memorabilia - and the response you will get is “mind your own business”. Lol! The purpose of life is to fulfill one’s purpose. In some cases, it’s not relevant what the age of the partner is, as long as your mission is fulfilled. I shouldn’t need to explain this concept to a God-understanding man. Ahem. This reminds me that, perhaps, modern religion is just a matrix and that it has nothing to do with true spirituality, which has no limits and boundaries - except for the karma you “earn” yourself. To continue with this point, if the older woman is “using” the younger man, that’s bad karma. But if she takes someone on the trajectory to hell and genuinely helps him find purpose in life and fulfill his mission, that’s great karma. Cheers, guys! The man pursues woman asks her to marry him ...but the divorce rates are still high..so its obvious by him asking her is not a concrete solution...if so,the divorce won't still be so high! Regardless of who asks who or finds who first...its not going to work unless both agree to committee to the marriage whole heartedly! God never said that a husband or wife has to me a certain age... younger , older or the same age ..Society is did that! cause decades ago Society was in agreement with people getting married at 14 -15 years old starting families, they remained married 60-70 years. Well... I dated on both sides of the spectrum. I have also experience a younger man that was mature & older man acting childish. I learned from both. I dont see why age is a big factor, especially if you are a mature adult ( 25 & older) and if you guys have great connection & chemistry... who are we to judge? I get hit on by younger men often. I'm in my 30s and I have the same mindset as you. They all say the same thing though - "Age ain't nothin' but a number." I'm so sick of hearing that. I tell them that they're looking for a hot mom. I drill them with questions asking if they are lonely, were rejected by their mom, weren't breastfed, etc etc. They get mad, I don't care. I do believe there are exceptions to this norm, but like you said, it could be 1 in a 1000 women who are older and have that aura to a young man.

Tony, there are younger guys who have old souls in them grinding and getting there own and want an older woman because he's genuinely into her especially if he took his time getting to know her over a 6 to 12 month period. I met a younger guy at my 2nd job and he's very hesitant to get involved with me, but he's definitely interested. You can't control a heart connection and guess what? I look younger than all the females I work with. The 90's babies are now looking older than the 80's babies and from what I'm hearing their vaginas are dry and unfulfilling. Not to be funny but I chuckled at his comment regarding young men avoiding dating women 10 or more older because of aging. Truth is men tend to die before women. Moreover, Black men tend to die years before the woman they are with. My dad was 10 years younger than my mother and he died before her. In the community I was raised so many black women have outlived their husbands by nearly a decade. The upside to a woman having a younger man is you might actually have someone to grow old with since statistically speaking they tend to kick the bucket before us.

Yes the chemistry can be huge but the main honest reason is because the conversations are more in depth with life and your views of life are. I am 55 and have stated several times that where I live, men my age or older are either married, shacking, have a girlfriend or on their last leg...I also stated that I was 27 and married a 21 yo..a big mistake because the conversation was spent with me explaining what I was talking about..then I ended up with someone 15 years OLDER than me..another mistake because he talked to me as if i was his child at times ig because his daughter and I were only a couple of years apart, he stopped asking me things and started telling me what to do..but i had to tell him that he wasn't my daddy. So it depends on the situation. Every relation is different. I know of several older ladies who married younger n the men ended up leaving because they wanted children. several ended up having children outside of the marriage..I know several older men with younger wives and the men died within 3-4 years...I also know several couples who are really truly happy and in love. It just depends.

I think maturity, values, goals, when the age gap is occurring (2O year old with a 30 year old vs 50 year old with a 60 year old), and the overall love connection. I’ve seen both sides- my mother is ten years older than my father and they married and had children. Other families members I know are with younger men ( one six years older and one 13 years older) and they are going on their 30th and 25th wedding anniversaries. However, I have also seen younger guys use older women for sex, money, etc. I feel many of them do have mommy issues! I think with any dating relationship you should seek God and be prayerful, look at red flags and leave or stay based on what is revealed to you!

I am dating a man who’s 15 years younger than me. I’m reading everyone’s comments & I agree with the financial gain but let’s be real, I think this applies to any & every body. Humans with goals look for ways to level up. In my case we both make about the same amount of money. I make perhaps 10k more than he does. He pays for 90% of our dates & trips as well. I think this applies more for adults under 50. As women get older men start dying off earlier so it can lead to limited dating pool.

At 18 I wouldn't have had anything in common with a 30 something year old and it would have definitely be something I wouldn't have been interested. If there's no maturity difference between a 40 year old then when he was 20 that man needs to look at why he hasn't been able to grow as a person. I am not opposed to age gap relationships but it should be an equal relationship with no one being over the other person.

With all due respect Mr Gaskins, I assure you this video applies and definitely resonates with older men as well. All the things you've said describe ALL men including yourself 😒😒😒. I have regretfully come across several men who were my age or older who fed me the same bullcrap you say younger men display. There are many older men who still play games, cheat on their wives, gf, fiance', are on the DL, etc. You cannot imply that only younger men play these crazy games and act like nasty fools when all the while, older men misbehave in the same exact regard. Do you know how many older men who specifically set out to get notches on their belts and run game just to accomplish such a goal? Just give younger men the credit and respect that they deserve...you can never put all younger men the same boat as there are plenty of wonderful, stable, straight, reliable, honest, funny, fun loving, good and powerful ones in this world... celebrity or not. Please make an effort to keep that in mind!!! Do you have the man you're speaking of? You can believe what you want, but I know men and I know what I'm talking about. The only man that will genuinely want you is between 40 and 51. You will see as you live. If you want a younger man, go right ahead. But I'm a mature 36 year old man and I know how a mature man my age thinks, and nothing in us is genuinely attracted to a woman 10 years older. We'd rather be with someone of our generation to grow old together and be on the same wave length. Mature men think alike. We are not that different. Now, granted I've been waiting for a long time and there is a certain degree of concern, but it's like that sometimes. People couldn’t understand it, but I would feel so perverted being with a younger man even if he’s only a little bit younger than me. Younger men feel like my little brothers… 😷 It’s so gross and I don’t even see how a woman can lol to a younger man to be the authority figure in a relationship when women’s brains mature at a faster rate than mens??…. What he's saying is true, please don't be mad at truth. If you're in your 20's or early 30's and date 10 years over it's probably not gonna work. Men like to date younger women for the benefits also. Unfortunately, this made me go into negative thinking. I thought how horrible women have it when it comes to appearances. A man will age gracefully and we're called all mean names.
