Just love your work ethics. It is great to see someone who still values a job well done over the time it took At the end of the day it is a win win for all. Thanks Chad I wish you could work on my fireplace chimney.

I’m not a bricky. I’m not a roofer. But I know what looks good. You took an embarrassing disaster (for the previous laborers) and turned it into a real work of beauty to be proud of! 👍👍👍

I like slipping off a philips screw and driving the bit into hand. That feels really good. The hammer fingernail is close in pain. Shinn knockers are up their too.

In an older video, you used flashing up against the chimney to attach the ice and water shield to, under the shingles/lead vs adhering it to the quickset you applied here. Did you change methods, either options work, or roof/chimney design determines method? Thanks

I always install the edge metal first. It was done the same way on this job.

where do you buy your lead at
@chadvaillancourt Жыл бұрын
Any hardware store, lumber yard, big box store or masonry outlet. I buy most of mine from a local lumberyard.

Mind as well get a roof nail gun battery driven, solves the finger pain issue. It helped me for sure 😅

I’ve actually been thinking a lot about getting a Dewalt nailer. Seems like it would be an awesome addition.

Mike Hadduck masonry had a good trick for making the brick match. Rub some dirt and mud all over them and brush off the excess. lol

Your inner artist is starting to take over your work. He's going to cost you money. "Good enough" is important if you're working to a fixed price.
