I genuinely believe that this couldn't be done any better. Since hearing the announcement of this movie being passed around since 2012, little thirteen year old me was so frustrated with the idea that it may never happen and now I am forever grateful that it fell into Jon's hands and I had to wait so long. If you are a longtime fan of this show, you sit and are just in awe of the little details added that no one BUT a fan of the show could have known to add. This wasn't some money hungry Hollywood churn out, but was obviously made with nothing but the utmost care and love. I have watched this movie countless times, and shown it to countless people. People in my life who didn't really understand why I loved it so much in my childhood until they saw it in theaters. I saw that 'oh' moment in their eyes, and it was a wonderful gift. I had given up on movies in general in this day and age because I simply was not happy with them, so when I first heard this movie was coming out I was so very wary going into it, and by the end my hands were shaking and my face was wet with tears. You have brought back that beautiful love I had for this show and increased it in abundance and I cannot thank these people enough for that. Seeing the general masses finally enjoying something I've kept so dear to my heart is a joy I cannot begin to explain if I tried. No matter how bleak the world is today, I feel as if this was a familiar tool handed to me to keep hope in my heart. I went in with a love for Wicked, and came out for a love for Wicked, Cynthia, Ariana, and everyone else who worked on this project. I cannot wait for the second part to release I will be at the edge of my seat until it does. P.S. If a Wicked Workshop song makes it into that second movie I will scream with joy
