@@PM-gp3oy no problem at all I would just be cautious if you are going to get them to fit it as that is when the price just continues to go above and beyond what they originally quote you and when you complain wickes take no responsibility for any of it! 😔I hope your bathroom is done beautifully❤️

Thanks for this video. Last week I had the designer round and this week I am due to have the 3d design styling by the designer. I was told my very small bathroom would cost about £8k which includes £1k for the installers. I am going to look at the design tomorrow and will definately now be getting a second quote from someone else ie. b&q or homebase. I thought it would be best to go with a big company like Wicks because if anything goes wrong I can go back to them. I too live alone and the bathroom £8k is a massive spend and big commitment. Not sure what to do !

You are so welcome! That 8k will never be the final price so I would definitely shop around you would be best trying to source your own fitters and use one of of the bigger companies for their supplies as the price difference is insane and there is usually no hidden costs with your own fitters whereas wickes as with my bathroom make problems so you end up paying an obscene amount more! I hope this helps and I hope you love the bathroom you end up getting!❤️

I'm in a small one bed flat and the mess is inconvenient, but you've been unlucky. My kitchen was done well by Wickes and the guy fully respectful and cleaned up after. Now Im having the bathroom done and Ive had to say a few things like dont lean tools against my white walls. They both did lay floor protection in the whole hallway but dust is a nightmare as I still clean up after them. Your guys did take the mick invading your privacy. Have to say both times the front door and communal walls were chipped and they had to repair. To be honest these things will happen with most companies. I was warned by my designer there would be extra costs, so my total 17 grand quote is turning out to be 20 grand in the end for both kitchen and bathroom. I saved 5 grand by changing some of the designer's choices. Way I see it is yes its expensive but will push up the value of my property.

I’m glad you’re having a better experience and I agree with everything you have said here, most of the problems I had, I would have had with any company but I think the lack of professionalism from the actual fitters was what ruined my experience the most but I hope your bathroom gets finished soon and it looks amazing!

Hi I’m so sorry your friend had to go through this, I struggle with anxiety etc so it’s easy for others to say they had to ask for simple things like please don’t destroy my house - should be basic skills for these scamming bastards! I was considering Wickes but just watching her experience has sent me literally sick to my stomach, I hope she is ok and if reads this my god darling you are so strong to go through this horrific mess my heart goes out to you. I’m desperate to find a good company to go with but my anxiety has stopped me for years. Do you know what company your friend went with for 6k? I would truly appreciate being able to know and look up reviews of them. In the meantime please please put this video up on all socials especially twitter you’d be amazed at how quick they will give you your money back once twitter finds out!
