I am 61 years wife of 24 years left and filed for divorce. I did everything to no avail. It has been 6 years now. I have learned these truths. Men are built to give and women to receive. As a man, let me speak to you men. When a woman isn’t willing to be a recipient of everything and anything about you, respect yourself and respect her wishes. Do not try to force being received anywhere you are not wanted. As much as it hurts you, ‘take your ball and go home’. Guard your dignity like a precious jewel. That’s the only thing you have left. Find peace! You will have bad days and really bad days. At least you’re have you. Don’t get yourself caught up with these young girls here with issues galore. Live your life at peace!

Geoffrey, I went through your masterclass awhile ago. An I'm sorry I wasn't able to purchase the RR I so badly wish I could but I couldn't step up to it. However, every time you drop a video I get so excited. I learn so much from you an I admire you as a coach so much. I've combined lessons from many coaches around the web. 5 months ago I was left, I felt like my situation was so unique haha. Well, me an my ex are taking small steps towards being fully in love better than ever. I didn't want to email you this, but I wanted to share with you. Thank you. The results are real when you absolutely do not give up, just man up an build yourself. Bless you man. I felt so defeated but wouldn't back down. The love of my life just spent the last 48 hours with me an I did a big thing, I brought up difficult talk an she opened up deeper than ever. You are a king brother.

Hey Geoffrey So my wife doesn’t want the divorce but she says that she wants to separate and be by her self and live the single life I don’t know what does that mean

I was terrible at times over the 3 years we were together. Yelling belittling . She has an alcoholic problem before i met her. However i acknowledge to the full that i am accepting of my actions. What can i do when she wants space and yet still drinks and blames me still for her mental state of mind. Have you got some advice please

Also we have been apart now 12 month's. I have tried to help in anyway i can . I also been working on my shortcomings with counciling. I got a txt from her saying that i did not respect her space by coming around mowing lawns doing gardens ect. Not sure now what to do? Except give her that space she needs .?

Guys you have to,run the race, even if facing what seems like insurmountable obstacles. You have to,run the race. You may win, you may lose, but you will KNOW that you gave it your best, but acknowledge that sometimes your best is not enuff. But at the least, you can hold your head high , and know for the rest of,your life, that you ran the race! And you won’t have any regrets. Then improve yourself, acknowledge your shortcomings, work on them , and be a better MAN.

Unfortunately in my marriage right now I am not the breadwinner..I am a stay at home dad. So purchasing the program at this time is not an option for me without going behind my wife’s back-which would devastate the marriage beyond repair. BUT, in just a month from watching these videos alone, my wife has gone from having “no hope” to “maybe willing to try”….she says she still wants space, but to be honest, it’s probably what we both need and I’m just excited to be able to finally get back to being the man I know that I can. Thank you Geoffrey!!!

@@GeoffreySetiawan actually, any advice on “planting seeds” would be amazing! Some day a guide similar to the healing emotions one would be so great. My wife is deployed in the navy and will be home in 3 weeks. She is adamant that she DOES NOT want to discuss marriage for the summer-understandable as she’s been gone 6 months-so that’s my biggest challenge I anticipate!

When do you give up? Only when they remarry? Or is it just to grow an a person, not be fixated on "the one" and move on in peace?
@CallsItLikeISeizeIts9 ай бұрын
Yes , all you said. Pick your arse up, and start marching to your own beat, move forward away from the wreck at the side of road. The further you go the better you become. You MUST accept 100% of your 50% responsibilities. Grow your self and be the best MAN you can be, but you must work on all the baggage that contributed to the breakup, or your doomed to repeat. You are only truly a man until you can walk away from ANY Pusey. Including your wife’s. It’s a 50/50 chance , so,either you work it out or move on. But you MUST move forward and enter the race and run the race, acknowledging that you might lose that race in the worst case, but in the best case, you will forever know that you ran your best race, but you didn’t win, that means you will, have no regrets, as opposed to never showing up,to the race, not running the race and forevermore wondering what might the outcome be. You are not giving up, but evolving. Stay strong

My husband has already filed for divorce, we were married 25yrs. I worked on my short comings & have made the changes I needed to make for myself & him. There’s no going back to that old person I was, but it’s too late for us the divorce will be final soon, maybe by November. I had hoped & prayed I had been this better person before he made up his mind to divorce me & file so quickly. I’m so sad, but have to accept the impending divorce.

BTW...I've meet many people that have tried killing themselves by thinking they are failures. Failure means a change of direction. It does not always mean a negative thing. BTW...Im already buying furniture since mine filed and says they love me....all the while was already filing when we were reconciling...so what about that? Im only good for everything accept unconditional love and having a family with. So, they said lied about them wanting kids the whole 13 year relationship. They smirked when they told me they filed. They are mad that they have to buy out our property...since I am a series of business transactions according to the court.

Hi Cinthia Hernandez, I will tell you two things. 1) Watch more of my content, and this answer with be very evident. That my program of building emotional safety & trust and learning how to work through conflicts, misunderstandings, and differences as a team is a basic human need and relationship principle. 2) Yes, I have roughly 18% of my clients who are women, and it doesn't matter what culture, race, gender, age, preference, etc. These principles apply to everyone.

@Geoffrey, Isn't all these too rational and ignoring women emotions? So you change into a better man with whom she might keep her love up and live happily forever but now she feels no love anymore, she is apathetic and indifferent towards you and you finally start changing as a man.. All your ideas sound very rational but is that gonna re-create those emotions and dead feelings of love in her? I got it.. those pillars, frameworks, safety and trust etc.. but if the love feeling has died already sometime ago and she finally admits it to herself and everyone.. is it really realistic to expect the love come back in her heart?
