Nisha, I just can't get over how natural that particular wig is on you. No one would ever think it wasn't your hair, I guess because the color is exquisite and the style is so cute too, plus the roots make it look just like real hair and makes the wig coordinate well with eyemakeup. Just lovely on you hon! 😘

A huge THANK YOU, Nisha for sharing your views, great tips and experience! They do take the scary bit out of buying and wearing wigs. One burning question still: How do these wigs perform outdoors, i.e. when you are in the hot sun, does the UV light affect colour and sheen? What about when you get rained on, do they look like naturally wet hair? And can you wear them on the beach & swimming in the sea / swimming pool or does the salt / chlorinated water damage the fibres?

Nisha, I just found your wig videos and I really want to thank you. I'm going to watch all of them as soon as I get time. This video was so, so helpful. My hair has gotten so thin in the past few years and I think wigs will be my solution. I do have one now but it is so shiny and it's really obvious that it's a wig so I don't want to wear it. Anyway, thank you so much for the video and all the best to you ...xx, Sue

I just received my first wig from the Rachel Welch line and omg is it gorgeous. I have dark brown hair and was a bit unsure about the color I chose. I ordered the dark chocolate brown and it is absolutely gorgeous. I have long hair so it's a bit challenging to put the wig on. I ordered this wig because I have severe problems with my spine and it makes it hard to lift my arms up long enough to style my own hair. I usually wear it up in a tie and at 55 its not cute. I'm sure once I learn how to put the wig on fairly quickly this will be the answer to my prayers. I can finally feel good about how I look again. Thank you Nisha...I really appreciate you and the work you put into your channel.

I purchased May by Noriko in Chocolate Frost as a start just to see if I would be comfortable wearing one and didn't want to spend much until I knew for sure. My problem now is fear of it coming loose while out in it. I hope you address this in your next wig video. Thanks so much Nisha! 👩🏻

SugarPuffAndFluff I went with May because I was attracted to bobs and my hair is much longer and I usually wear it pulled back in a bun, so I wanted to try out a bob on me. I'm also loving the highlights on this wig, something different for me but the main color is very close to my own hair. I'm still not secure with wearing it out and look forward to your next video. Thanks again Nisha! 👩🏻

+Jane Vt I just use bobby pins to make them stay. I like wearing a wig cap with the little vents. The wig caps that are smooth, I find make my wig move a little. I am currently wearing Jameson by Esthetica and I find that it fits my head perfectly and don't need to use bobby pins at all. I know some people use the Got2be hair gel/glue, but I haven't found that I need. Just my two cents.

I love this wig on you! I actually purchased the one you have on, and returned as it was too short on me. I have a long neck and I just felt short hair is not that flattering in me. I have been wearing wigs for about two years and it is very fun. I used to buy wigs at a wig store, but she closed and it is extremely hard to get the right color!

Loved your advice about full monofilament and lace front cap. Also, your recommendation to get your first wig in a style that you usually have your bio hair in or a style that you've worn in the past was brilliant. I can imagine me buying a flouncy style and throwing it off after one wear thinking it's not natural and what am I doing wearing a wig(even if it looked beautiful). I'll take that bit of info on my shopping trip. Thank you so much. My newly shedding hair is making me so sad. k

@tennymusgravebrown87977 жыл бұрын
Nisha, that was an excellent video! 😊 I've been wearing wigs for 10 years and you are already a pro! I do have a question, though. I am very curious as to what made you start wearing wigs. I have androgenetic alopecia (female pattern baldness 😝). Oh, and I want to tell you how you can extend the life of your hd and regular synthetic wigs using very low heat on your flat iron (I will heat up my flat iron then turn it off. When I can touch the plate then I know the flat iron is ready.) Taking a very, very small section of fiber, I lightly comb through. Then I spray with leave in wig conditioner and quickly pass the flat iron over the fiber. It takes trial and error, but you will learn how hot you can get the flat iron and how quickly or slowly to pass the iron over the fiber. If done correctly (and really it is very easy to do it correctly 😊) you will preserve the style of the wig. Also, by working in very tiny sections, if you should accidentally burn the fiber, you can just snip that off and it will not be noticeable. I know this from experience as having burned some fiber. 😉

Thank you so much for this tip. I don't really know how I got in to wigs, I have always hated my hair , it is very fine and lacks body, it takes a lot of styling to get it to look good. I think that one day I came across Taz's channel and couldn't believe how good wigs are these days, so I bought one wig and I was hooked lol, I can have hair now that I could only dream of although I don't know how I would cope with wearing wigs in the summer when is hot xoxoNisha
@tennymusgravebrown87977 жыл бұрын
Wearing a wig is like wearing a bra. 🤷🏻♀️ You just get used to it. And you learn to find shade and air conditioning. I'm 48, premenopausal and need to lose about 10-15 pounds. I'm hot anyway. Lol My bio hair is bad news so I keep mine buzzed. Your bio hair is still very passable. You have enough that kept at the length it is, you can easily alternate between wigs and your bio hair if the day is so hot and you don't want to mess with wigs. Or you can wear a ball cap instead. I bet you are cute in a ball cap!

Thank you for your honest opinions.

There will be another video on Sunday about that. I don't think the RW wig has that much hair comparing to other wigs, it will feel like this to you at first, because you are not used to having so much hair, I just flatten it with my hands, I like big hair so it is not bothering me xoxoNisha

Straight up with a twist looks very natural, but if you are worried I would go for a wig with slight curl/wave as straight haired wigs can sometimes look too perfect. For most natural look always go for lace front and full monofilament. I am sorry you are loosing your hair, good luck with the chemo. xoxo Nisha

Try it with gray hair .... not silver, not white, not salt and pepper ... just gray. Ugh!

Nisha, have you heard of Manuka skin care? I know this is a wig video but I saw this skincare on instagram and it has honey and bee venom in it!! Ever tried it? Love the video and you look fabulous in your wig.💝
