Idk if other people mentioned this but Leela is actually a really good female protagonist. A tough, independent girl boss who is also capable of exhibiting a lot of emotion and character. But I've never heard of her being hoisted as an example of progressivist/feminist role models. People often mention Ridley from Aliens but not much of Leila.
