Wild-camping the Isle of Wight Coastal Path - Day 5 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

At the start of May 2021 for no good reason I hiked and wild camped around a whole island, on the Isle of Wight Coastal Path. The walk was around 73 miles in total, and took me 5 days with 4 nights of camping. The walk can be started from anywhere on the trail but I decided to start and finish in Cowes going clockwise, purely because the ferry was cheapest from Southampton. and I wanted to head slowly round towards the Needles.
Day 5 - Newtown River to Cowes. The final leg of my journey, a beautiful sunny, and relatively easy day, although it started out with some long, windy roads which seemed to go on forever. By the time I reached Cowes it was around midday and I treated myself to a beer at The Painters Arms pub who also allowed me to bring in my fish and chips. At around 1.30pm I caught the ferry back to Southampton, for a job well done.
