We used to watch the crows in Washington State put chestnuts under our car tires. It seemed like they had mostly learned to put them in front of my car's tires, because I always pulled forward away from the curb, and under my roommate's tires, because he always backed out of the driveway. Really smart critters. Came out one morning to find around 8 chestnuts in front of each of my tires and a whole bunch of crows sitting in the tree next to our house watching me get into my car!

I saw a crow once in a dog walking park in sydney. in the middle there was a big waterbowl sort of thing for the dogs to drink from. This video was filmed in Japan. One time I witnessed the exact same thing over at where I worked (west coast of the U.S.). The crow dropped a walnut at a not-so-much-traffic cross walk. I knew it could take hours to get that nut cracked, so I walked up and stepped on the nut, and then hid away. The crow knew I was watching from far away, so we both stood at our spots for a while. I wonder how the crows could perform such a unique technique even they are so far apart.

I droped a few bits of bread and it seemed apprehensive about picking them up, when I reached out to feed it however the crow took the piece of bread ate a little then droped it but seemed much more interested in the window. It enjoyed toasted bread with butter much more, theres something about crows vs other birds.
