@@vivalaleta yes for sure. I'm very upset, angry. I've been in contact with city officials prior to the law and still am but not much response. They cite the animals are diseased, with high potential to spread disease. It's the other way around as humans are responsible for the upheaval to the ecosystem. Grrr so angry.

I had a squirrel that I would hand feed and take care of when I would see her outside. I made a few videos of her when I would be outside when I had finally got a gopro. Unfortunately by then she was already pretty old. I had taken care of her for nearly 10 years. She was so amazing. I miss her a lot.

Our outside squirrels were so friendly, and it is magical when they take food from your hands. They used to meet us by the car when we came home with groceries. They knew they would get something!

I have to wonder at animals like this. I'm thinking perhaps animals that get this friendly with people were perhaps raised/rehabilitated by people, then released back into the wild. It's cool in any case!

It's rare that they decide to be friendly with you, but it happens. Some are great at reading your behaviour and when they're brave, curious little floofs they will test you. Sadly, it's usually those that tend to die because of their risky behaviour. Some, like this little guy here, might flourish though :)

Yep they are cute. We have tons of squirrels that come to our yard. My wife did the exact same thing. They got closer and closer to the house. My wife got exactly what she wanted: The squirrels moved in...to my attic and chewed up my electrical wires (bbq squirrel), my walls, my HVAC , my PEX pipes, insulation-piss and shit everywhere (had to replace), etc... It's all fun and games until they start destroying your house. They are still cute and funny, but...Wild animals belong in the wild.

Oh wow I'm literally going thru what this women is experiencing,I literally just fed my little squirrel friend Randomly appeared on my window ledge about a week ago I live on the first floor on an estate..no garden just a few tree's He has visted me twice today for some nuts and oat biscuits. I feel very lucky to have been chosen to feed a wild squirrel pretty much everyday from the comfort of my room 😂✌🏻🇬🇧

Awe…I had a roughed up squirrel I named Freddy with holes and chunks missing from his years and he came every day to eat walnuts. We moved after a year but it was so wonderful while it lasted. I didn’t let him in because of the cats.

Squirrels, raccoons, possums, skunks and birds are potentially hybrid animals. Some live in the wild but many live in the city and their lives and challenges are different. It is surprising how many animals understand the benefits of forming a bond with humans. We can give them what many in the city so badly need. They give us gratitude and affection.

We had one for ten years!! So we put in a tiny doggie door for him. He would come in the bedroom and "YIP" if we were not up and getting his bowl of fruit and veggies ready for him.

my apartment building has a family of squirrels that have lived here for at least 3 fully tame generations, they seem to pass it on to their young which is interesting . if you want tame squirrels give them food and water and soon you will have squirrel friends too. anecdotally you apparently can also use meth to have an attack squirrel, i literally just saw it before this video and am currently sad for that poor creature.

We had a squirrel Come in Everyday. I Placed English and Black walnuts in a Closet for Suzy, she would get my Wife or me to give her a nut. A Year Later She brought in her Babies, all 6. Well behaved, They stayed in The living room and Run around, When they wanted a snack or Water they come into The kitchen
