Not only are your videos hypnotizing, they allow aspiring ultra runners like me to run side by side with a legend! Thank you!

You are fortunate to have ultra athletic friends like Carolyn to share the adventure. There aren't many people with the fitness to enjoy this kind of physical challenge.

I must say I watched the whole thing, very entertaining! Having done rim to rim last September it was very hot at the bottom this time. Not ready yet for r2r2r, but plan to do r2r again next year and hopefully shorten my time. Thanks Kerry and Caroline for sharing your experience.

So impressed. Just happened to come across this video the other day. Now I've subscribed and continue to search for more to watch. Very inspiring. Just got back from a day hike to Indian Gardens while my brothers did R2R2R. Not sure I should show them this video. Hahaha. Thanks again for your great videos and commentary.

Your videos are excellent for treadmill viewers. Way better than some of the treks that involve bouncing around with a camera and double speed and boring scenery. Would really appreciate knowing the exact specs of your camera. Your stability and unrehearsed interesting dialogue, while carrying the camera, deserve an award. Major league points for your direct dialog in telling tourist to pack out their trash; specific Minor points for walking the guard rail. A well done on your rattlesnake encounter. Your education is showing. Continued excellent health and success!

Thanks for the feedback, Mr. H. For this video. I used a small Sony Action Camera on a monopod, I believe. Love the specificity of what you shared in your comments. Cheers. K

That view at 41:55 when you two luncheoned. THAT spot alone tugs at me. Makes me want to be there under any conditions. I'm thinking March, when I can no longer endure negative temperatures in NE Ohio.

I encounter them all the time. They just want to get away safe and sound, as you do. Just be patient. It's the unexpected situations which can cause problems. Be observant. : >)

Just watched again for the second time. I wish I didn't have such ankle issues as this is inspiring. I can get about 10 miles, or a bit more if I'm ready for some pain the next day. I'm planning to do Indian Gardens again next year. Might try to sneak in an extra mike or two. Keep up the good work.

Great video! I am planning on doing a rim to rim to rim over the course of two days in May. I am going to leave the south rim on a Monday, stay the night at he north rim lodge and then make it back to the south rim on Tuesday. On Thursday I would like to day hike havasupai. You mention that you did exactly that(day hike havasupai) before your own rim to rim to rim. Could you explain the logistics behind that because I'm having some difficulty figuring it out? Thank you, and again, great video!

Just absolutely loved your video and the fascinating views of the Bright Angel trail...in the pouring rain no less. Great job. As the author of a Grand Canyon Guide to the North and South Rim with many visits to the GC I have often looked down at both the Bright Angel and Kaibab trails and wondered what it would be like to venture into the canyon from those routes. Your vid made the Bright Angel come alive and I thank you. Like I said, great work on the camera and narration. ff at www.frederickfichman.com
