Because of Jess, and the first wave of the pandemic, we made it a point to move out of our apartment to a family home with a garden in September 2020. 14 months later, I am a new mom, and am starting my first vegetable garden coming spring. That one decision has brought an abundance of joyful moments during the worst of times. She has been an inspiration❤️

Why I already want to cry at 1 minute? All she said was she is about to hand the camera to them and just live her life. Literally that's all its taking for me. She is so poetic and I love her strength and resilience she has shared with us over the years. I have been gone from KZbin all year to just learn digital everything and now I'm back and she is in South Carolina like me. I feel blessed because I know they will be praying for our state and our nation. Please remember to add the disabled and the elderly home alone during this time. My pursuit to freedom has led me on a path where I get to call them and you'll be surprised it's so many. 💗

You film so beautifully Justin, I'm so impressed with so many of the homesteaders that have channels, but I feel as though you; Justin are a massive inspiration to so many people. So happy for Jess & Miah. What a wonderful journey, thank god for being vicarious. I'm 62 in a month & wish I had taken my dream property of 12+ acres I've owned since 1990 in NW Mountains of Me and done more with it when I was in better physical condition. Maybe the next owners (hopefully one of my grandchildren) will follow the little bit of a lead that I started now some yrs back......

I feel so inspired by Jess and at the same time, I can feel so inadequate. I look at how far her faith has brought her and I think about how much further along I should be in my faith. Then the Lord made me realize that I can play just as significant of a role in His kingdom by praying for those He has given this platform to. And of course, I have prayed for them, but never really truly understood how significant that role is in God's kingdom. We can help to undergird those with influence with the whole counsel of God! This inspires me that even though I don't have the influence that they may have, I have relationship with the One who watches over them and I can be a watchdog, making sure that every gate is being covered along with the other viewers who are in God's army. I realize that no matter where we are in our walk with God, we can be greatly significant when we pray. Who else will recognize their significance with me and let that realization motivate you to pray continually for those on here we cherish and love???

I was given the realization to help fulfill my husband's dream of owning a piece of land to homestead on. For a while now I wanted to uncover what my dreams are but couldn't come up with anything, until the realization came that my joy comes from seeing my husband's dream come true. We had been discussing a 10 year plan, when our son grows up but then we were just blessed with another baby on the way and realized that maybe the dream is to happen sooner than we anticipated. Comparison to Jess and Miah would sneak up on me sometimes and then I'd be reminded that we are not to compare and that God has a purposes for our lives too and it doesn't have to look the same, it could be vastly different, even as you said, just being the prayer warrior for others. Prayers are important and just because we don't always see the fruit doesn't mean it's not answered. 💜

Jess and her family are so inspirational. She speaks from the heart and that’s empowering. There’s nothing better than opening up your heart to others and showing your vulnerability and passion in order to share and ignite the vision that so many have been too scared to face, as it’s not so easy to do so on one’s own. Absolutely fantastic that she is building a community to help others do just that. Absolutely wonderful! I’ve been watching Justin’s, and Jess’s channels for a while. Both have been so empowering and informative into the wonderful world of homesteading. It’s something that we, in the UK, we not very much into, but a movement has started among us Brits. Exciting times ahead. In fact, I’ve bought an acre property in Bulgaria last winter, and hope to move and start my homesteading end of august this year. Another great inspiration is a book written by John Seymour called ‘The Complete Guide to Self-sufficiency’. It’s definitely a must-read book for current and future homesteaders. Thank you for the video, Justin! Keep it coming. Stay blessed! 😊❤️

this is part of that old saying "go west young man", it's the reverse of my great grand parents leaving the carolinas to tennessee and arkansas. my parents leaving arkansas & moving to california, me leaving california and moving to rural kentucky. fufilling life takes many roads and for a lot of us it is returning to a simpler life, a life that is real and good for our soul.

I Just Love watching Jess and Micah. Jess's whimsical romantic side is what keeps me coming back for more to watch her channel. She describes her dreams of what she wants her new place to look and feel like with such poetic that I can see it as she explains it. I can see her home as one of the most beautiful farms in South Carolina and that separates "Wilder Still" farm in a category off all its own. It will be very exciting to watch her and the family's dreams unfold as it all comes to reality. SC is going to realize just how lucky they are to have them as neighbors I do believe the little town is in for a Big surprise and the old residents are going to see it come back to life better than ever. Congratulations 👏👏👏 to the Wilders. 😀

I agree, I see Miah come alive too. Maybe it’s the inclusion of your extended family too. You know it’s probably something I don’t fully understand, but this reminds me of my husband and his brother when they work together. They both came to help when my daughter’s family moved to a new house. They built fences, fixed the stove installed lights, a door and painted. My daughter called them the fix it twins because they seemed to communicate without words. Lol so different than when I work with my husband on projects.

Thank you for your wisdom Jess. I am feeling overwhelmed by grief and I heard you say, I don’t have to figure out what’s going to happen. I just have to take care of what’s in front of me. This had a different, deep meaning for me. Before Thanksgiving my 31 year old Daughter in law died suddenly from a stroke. There were no warning signs. We are still in shock. She left behind my son (30) and 3 young children 1,5 and 8. I wanted you to know your words brought me peace. I can’t figure it out but what is in front of me are 3 precious boys who will grow up without their Momma.

I love your attitude, your philosophy and most of all your passion for homesteading! I wish I had discovered this idea of the homestead lifestyle when I was your age. I am 70 years old. Six years ago I collapsed, turns out I had 2 aneurysms. Before the drs. figured out a treatment I had a major heart attack. My heart stopped. They kept me going with CPR for 15 minutes until my heart kicked in again. Three months and two surgeries and I was out of the hospital. Eight months of recovery and I was diagnosed with cancer. After18 months of blood transfusions and chemo I was declared cancer free! I have been 2 years recovering from the chemo but I am looking for a piece of property where I can have some raised gardens and some chickens for eggs and meat. Maybe some goats? My daughters will be against it but they’re not the boss of me. I may not be able to do all that I want to and the extra work may kill me, but l’ll die happy.

You are certainly a fighter and thank you Lord for keeping you and sustaining you. You are still here for purpose. Follow your dream, even if it's on a small scale... bring it to life and pour your heart into it, living out your dream. Your daughters may be against it, but when they are you come to life and your health increase because of the joy in your heart, it will thwart the fear and doubt they have. Just remember, though, you don't have to go big, because the greatest gifts come in small packages. May God continue to bless you and may you prosper. See His goodness in all things and never forget to acknowledge Him, give Him thanks and praise His Holy name💖🙏🏻💖🙌🏻💖🛡🗡🛐✝️♾💖

Aww Jess, God has your heart. When you tear up I cry too, when you laugh I laugh too, every time I watch you and yours I hear the tidbits of unspoken faith. Sometimes I gain a bit in my own daily courage and go about my day. We are sisters under the Father and I do find so much simular in youth. I thank God you never lost your minds heart or the faith that grounds you. He is leading, hold His hand and follow... little girl run. The simple hopes and wishes of your tiny heart, are still with you growing coming true, never to part. Aww Jess, my sister under God. Seek ye first the kingdom... which you've done. It's evident, all your heart has been added to you..... with more to come. Ours are all grown and gone. We now have 9 grands added on. I miss the place you are in so very much. It's a lonely place I don't like to touch. Oh momma, document and write it all down.... it will bless you when you return to watch, read or frown. I've a singular wish...that I had kept up on my own. Bless you Jess... little sister in Him, have a rich and wonderful day. Bless you and all of yours. Prayers, Peace & Love

We're enjoying our Abundance Plus membership so much. Justin and Rebecca's show, Rooted, is just as good as Jess and Miah's, Wilder Still. But there is so much more there than these two series to enjoy or learn from. Thanks, Justin.

Such a beautiful journey that you and your family have ahead of you. Many blessings await you. Thanks again for inspiring and stirring our hearts and minds. I’m a little older than you (ok, a good bit 😅) and was lucky enough to Mary into a family that holds dear to heart the things that you all do. Add into that, their old-timy grit for homesteading and a loving family life. When I saw your videos many years back, I knew you were green, but I had immediate confidence that you both had the passion and tenacity to dig in and figure it out as you go! You’re truly in bud…working on a glorious time of bloom! Best wishes~ALWAYS!

I tell my girls that I’m listening to my friend Jess. This is just making me tear up. I know in my heart that she and miah have come into my life and have changed me. During Covid my brother built me a garden enclosure that is such a blessing to me. And I don’t think I would have dreamed it unless I had spent the time with them on You Tube. So happy for their continued success and legacy projects to come.

I am in the midst of making my dream come true moving to 2 1/4 acre farm in Florida. I will have to relearn my gardening experience from a small garden in Brooklyn NY to Florida. It is exciting.
