Long Term Shelter In The Woods - Rain - Table Making - Foraging - Stinging Nettle Dinner (Part 6)

Long Term Shelter In The Woods - Rain - Digging a small ditch and adding stones near the walls of the house that will protect it from the rain - Building a table and window sill using wood, string, and stone - making the chimney of my stone fireplace longer and safer (I added another piece of pipe to it, but I did not film this part - you will only see the end result in my video) - Foraging - Cooking stinging nettle for dinner. No talking, only peaceful nature sounds.
Nettle Recipe - boil the young (tender), fresh nettles (don't throw the water away, it is very healthy, will help you detoxify - drink it as tea), chop them finely, chop some wild garlic and garlic cloves, then stirfry in a pan adding a little bit of wheat flour and cornflour, olive oil and spices. Eat it with warm polenta instead of bread. I also added some chopped cherry tomatoes and chopped wild garlic to my dish.

Wow, It's obvious there's a lot of hard work put into this video. I'm imagining the excitement and surprise of someone who goes hiking in that area of the forest and gets a chance to recharge their batteries in this shelter. I totally agree with how lazy we are, but we pay good money to get the exercise we would otherwise get working for our comforts. I mow our lawn with a push mower while our neighbors all have tractors.... insane really. I sweep all the grass off the driveway with a broom and rake our pine straw in piles to use in the hedgegroves around the house. Others have electric blowers to do their sweeping and raking....crazy. Completely enjoy your videos, I am in the process of building a structure around our blueberry bushes with screening and I am taking some of your ideas with me!
