She always cries when we put shoes on her, so she usually goes barefoot. We’re trying on an old pair of Kinley’s soft shoes. See if she likes them!

Shoes are generally too small for the toes and deform the feet. That's how we have so many feet-related problems and need to consult podiatrists. There is a type of shoe known as a barefoot shoe, which has emerged in response to this. Our feet are *meant* to be free to spread their toes out. Children should be barefoot as much as possible.😊

Alessi is definitely an island baby. I grew up in Jamaica and hated wearing shoes,even now living in America 20+ years later I still walk outside bare foot.

I totally recommend the squeaky sandals...the ones that has squeaks for every steps the baby takes, it will definitely motivate her to want to wear it more.

She’s definitely getting there. Please don’t force. Let her scoot in them and before you know, she’ll be stomping around the house like she’s in a marching band. Getting her to put on shoes was half the battle. Now she’s observing them and becoming familiar.

In the other video Alessi walks on grass, without shoes 😍 I my opinion, from a biologist perspective, we are barefoot creatures. Our feet are perfectly equipped for locomotion and do not need any extra support. Being naked means that little baby feet quickly develop the stability they will later need to stand and walk safely. Therefore, let Alessie walk barefoot as often and as long as she wants.

@@MommyandDaddyMoments: I just read that 98 percent of all babies have healthy feet, but only 40 percent of adults. Our feet forget how to balance and absorb bumps when we wear shoes too often. This can also lead to back problems as an adult.

I think at this early learning stage they are better with bare feet to curl and grip the floor, once she has mastered walking, then try the shoes.

She’s so cute she’s starting to like them a lot u can try walking shoes for her they sell it for babies it helped my daughter walk ❤❤❤❤

I think Kinley saying how much she liked Alessi's shoes helped Alessi feel comfy in them. Next time try having Kinley put on a pair of shoes while Alessi is watching. It might help her to watch how comfy her big sis is and then she'll feel more secure about wearing them.

I really wish they would get her a decent pair of shoes instead of ones that slide all around. Maybe if her feet stayed in them she might be more willing to wear them.

Babies usually do not start wearing shoes until they are about 3 years old,try slip on shoes so that she can take them off when she wants to also bright colours may help,it may take time but it will come hope this is helpful to you ,you are having a good try good luck.

Has this baby ever had a pair of socks?? You're surprised those bare toes don't want to be suddenly constrained by shoes? Get her used to some socks occasionally.
