Waaaay back in the day, I worked in a law firm handling family, probate, and bankruptcy cases. I averaged filing 100 bankruptcies a week! Along with people filling for reasons, at least half of our divorce cases ALSO filed bankruptcy. Obviously, this was during a recession and frequently, bankruptcy was one of the most inclusive ways of dealing with financial disentanglement.

I may be wrong, but could Tom Girardi have been able to do this without the CA State Bar allegedly looking in the other direction for years? He also was very generous in his political contributions 😉. This whole situation is a disgrace to the legal profession as a whole. Hopefully a lot of lessons are learned. Bottom line, these families and individuals have suffered enough and I hope they get their money and justice.

Hey Emily. I just watched the Jenny McCarthy interview from 3 years ago with Erika Jayne. It popped up on my feed. I found it extremely interesting how she said when she first started there was Tom collecting her money at the clubs. Acting like her manager. However, when it came to the housewives contract he didn't give her any advice. She talks about signing lots of documents. It's interesting knowing what we know now to listen to it with fresh ears. Last thing there's also an interview about her and quarantine with Tom and how it brought them so much closer together. The complete opposite of what you saying now.
