Fishing the kayak bassmaster classic on infamous lake chickamauga! This is a two day tournament and I'm looking to cut my first check of the year! This is a mid March spring tournament

Way to stick with it and put up a solid limit on Day 1. It was a tough fishing day and that weather just made it a grind. First time my dad said I looked miserable coming off the water. I was starving at the end and had not eaten at all with the weather.

@@kristinefischer2289 we live 45 minutes away and we didn’t now about them at first but when we walked in there the first time the cook gave us free food to try of his and it seemed like everything on that plate was the best we ever had of that item and ever since every time we go up there we always make the pit stop there great people and the best food around

Not going to lie… the entire time I watched this video I was thinking if you could do a video on different types of foul weather gear you should use while kayak fishing and how to protect your kayak equipment and tackle. I’ve been drenched far too often and this yeah I want to avoid that! Thanks and good luck for the rest of the season!

@@kristinefischer2289 Cool deal! I’ll take a look at Aftco’s resources page. Do you tend to air dry your foul weather gear instead of drying it in the dryer to extend the waterproof/wicking properties? Is it best to have two of the same sets so you’re not over using one item all the time? Granted… I’ve previously used a different company’s jacket but they seem to fail at its basic duty after a few washes and uses. Thanks again!
