You already had inner wheels. On the starting fluid trick, it would be best to pop the bead and allow the air to bleed back out to let the either out. No one expects a blowout and with either still in the tire you'll never forget that blowout. I always replaced all 10 at the same time. When I replaced them I always put about 5 lbs of nitrogen in each just to neutralize any either that didn't come out with the air. I had a truck stop replace a tire once and didn't know they used either, a used tire. Before I made it home that tire blew. I pulled chemical tankers and the fire ball was impressive and alarming at the same time. Your truck your tires, I'm just expressing a concern you may wish to consider. By the way the wheels and tanks look great.

Drove coal truck and had to hang them up when we went to load and when you backed into hopper to dump if you didn't keep them long the D.O.T. would bust you in a heartbeat same thing if you haul blacktop

@@davidcaskey4669 I hauled coal also till it went to hell 2 power plants went away and 1 went to gas then went to hauling gas till I had back problems had surgery and Dr's disabled me . Yes DOT always wrote us up for them being to short but really how ever many inches behind the tire is how many inches off the ground they should be .We had this one DOT man that we called Mudflap cause he always wrote us up for it

What about balancing the tires???
@1Builtcummins4 жыл бұрын
You don't have to balance commercial tires, some will balance the steers though.
@1Builtcummins4 жыл бұрын
@Big Wheel Like I said, you don't have to but some do. It's a cost thing, your company ran super singles which would make the cost and time to balance alot cheaper. You have to think about companies that don't run super singles and what it would cost and the time it would take to balance 8-16 tires. You most not be the money man for your company.

Glad you put the cab fairings back on. It looks so much better with those on there. That poor compressor must have ran it's ass off mounting and filling all those tires.
