also a tip when heat wrapping something with that stuff, soak it in water first. you will get a much nicer finish, and a much tighter wrap

@@jasontruman1215 I didn't know that about the titanium wrap. I'm rewrapping the exhaust headers on my helicopter this summer and in the past I used the black wrap but hearing this about the titanium wrap I might go that route this time.

As a kid growing up in the 1970s, for some reason I was a huge fan of semis and was obsessed with them. At that time in my area, 3 out of 5 semis on the road were Freightliner Cabovers. Seeing this one is hugely nostalgic for me.

@@jguilmette I don't know we always used beads at the tire shop when I worked there... I didn't have the experience with the semis that was the boss's deal to take care of them... but he always use them, and never had any complaints, or issues with them working as far as I know, and he had several years experience working and driving semis.

Never had worries with the beads. Now with the larger size tires it should be fine. Had some on the last two trucks I drove and no problem even with no beads nor weights. Have to admit, cool looking highway machine, and with the length of the frame, should be a rolling couch!😎

On a truck tire you use the valve stems to balance the drives tires out and the steers don’t need to be balanced.

You already had inner wheels. On the starting fluid trick, it would be best to pop the bead and allow the air to bleed back out to let the either out. No one expects a blowout and with either still in the tire you'll never forget that blowout. I always replaced all 10 at the same time. When I replaced them I always put about 5 lbs of nitrogen in each just to neutralize any either that didn't come out with the air. I had a truck stop replace a tire once and didn't know they used either, a used tire. Before I made it home that tire blew. I pulled chemical tankers and the fire ball was impressive and alarming at the same time. Your truck your tires, I'm just expressing a concern you may wish to consider. By the way the wheels and tanks look great.

@Big Wheel Like I said, you don't have to but some do. It's a cost thing, your company ran super singles which would make the cost and time to balance alot cheaper. You have to think about companies that don't run super singles and what it would cost and the time it would take to balance 8-16 tires. You most not be the money man for your company.
