Hope so because how will we power all these EVs on renewables. We won’t. Which means we burn more fossil fuels to both manufacture and charge these EVs.

Synthetic fuels are not meant to replace evs but help ice vehicles become carbon neutral. Also synthetic fuels doesn't need to be 100% right away. It can be mixed with the fuel we have and slowly add more and more until it eventually does become 100% carbon neutral. I don't know why people are against this. If it helps the epa shut up about the kind of cars we drive then you should be happy about this.

If youre fine with spending x10 more per mile driven... Theres also the fact that they shouldnt be allowed in places with crowds. They might offset the carbon emissions. They wont offset the health impact ICE cars have on the human body.

As more people start to put it in their tanks and help raise the demand for it. The more supply will be needed to keep up with demand. Then the price will surely go down. It’s called supply and demand like with the GR Corolla circuit edition they only made 1500 for 2023 and Toyota said they weren’t going to make anymore early on but due to popular demand because no one could get one including myself. They decided to make 1500 more for 2024 the people that bought the GR circuit edition Corolla in 2023 for the ridiculous mark up prices because you know only 1500 of them are made and everybody wants one and obviously dealers knew that so the people who will buy the circuit edition in 2024 will not receive as big of a mock up because the hype number one will die down now that everybody has one I say everybody everybody who wanted one and to afford the insane ridiculous markup because it was ridiculous for the 2024 model year the people that didn’t get a chance to buy one will now be able to definitely find one for a much better price and maybe a little markup but not as much considering now there is about 3000 GR Circuit editions supply must keep up with demand in order for prices to go down, but there must be a high demand for prices to go down. See if people didn’t buy the GR Corolla as much as they did and there wasn’t so much hype about it as much as there was especially the circuit edition, considering it was the sweet spot between the Core Edition and the Morizo Edition because the circuit edition had everything the Morizo edition had with the backseat with a more affordable price tag minus a little less torque which wasn’t really that noticeable so naturally people who wanted one flocked to it as it was the best version of the three when it comes to practicality because backseat and price and I imagine this fuel will replace electric cars because you have lithium mining, which is awful not only for the environment, but mostly slave labor they don’t talk about that in the lithium mines and electric cars are just dull anyway who wants to drive around in an iPhone that in three years time is going to not be as good as it was or need a battery replacement oh, and by the way, when you crash an electric car, they catch fire and stay on fire because of something called thermal runaway, even if you extinguish the flames it will catch fire again so they are a lot more dangerous than internal combustion engine cars and more expensive and what about electricity when everybody adopts them the price of electricity is going to skyrocket not only that to charge an electric car more than 50% takes at least an hour. Who has that time when you can fill your fuel tank from empty to full in less than 10 minutes, depending on the tank size and how many fuel tanks because some diesel trucks have two tanks I main and a smaller auxiliary tank still considerably more user-friendly when it comes to time then you have the range anxiety in an electric car especially if it’s a pick up truck that’s already heavy because it’s a pick up truck then you add a battery pack to it which makes it 4000 pounds heavier than an internal combustion pick up truck and then you want to tow something with it like another car behind on a flatbed trailer in cold, snowy weather and they’re just heavy so anyone with a lighter car is screwed basically which is just about every internal combustion engine car unless it’s a truck and even then if it’s an electric truck, it’s much heavier so there’s a bigger chance of death on impact because an object in motion and force times mass and also we don’t have the infrastructure for it and chances are the infrastructure isn’t going to be built for a really long time to have it full scale and running properly which would also make it more convenient and that’s the key convenience. What more convenient now and cost-efficient because let’s be honest no government likes to spend money on infrastructure as it is and people love their convenience I think this synthetic fuel is going to catch on and probably replace electric cars, but that’s just my opinion and you know what they say about opinions. Opinions are like assholes. Everybody has one haha

This is the solution. Petrol engines need to remain but use synthetic fuels. Electric is simply not the solution: short range, expensive, causes massive pollution to produce, expensive and no supply network in 99% of the world...

Massive pollution not just to produce, but also to run. Where do you think EV charging stations get their power? Hint: generators that run on coal or oil!
@mrsoisauce9017

@@aaronvector4750and yet still less than ICEs. EVs still use most of the energy generated. ICEs do not. Far from it. EVs are more energy efficient and thus cleaner to run, even if we assume it only stops at charging stations powered by coal. Besides, we act like this is a permanent problem. It is not

The range is not short, the refueling is longer (but nonetheless insignificant), they are several times more clean lol, theyre about as expensive as your average ICE car, and the supply network is a non issue too, lol. Youve pretty much enumerated all the non-issues EVs have that ignorants or ill intended trolls love to parrot all over the internet.

The real question should be; "why is c02 bad?" Afterall, plants cannot survive without it...
@aaronvector4750
@aaronvector4750 9 ай бұрын
CO2 (carbon Dioxide) isn't bad by itself, however Excess CO2 can cause problems. Plants already have a good enough supply of CO2 in the atmosphere. That's why we plant more trees. Also, it's not only Carbon Dioxide but also Methane and Carbon monoxide that we must be careful with. I personally think anything that makes ICE engines continue for the decades to come is good. It's the notion that "EVs are the only way to go" which I have a huge problem with because of the various lies being told. Regarding it's effectiveness in reducing carbon emissions. Lie #1: "EVs produce less carbon emissions than Gasoline cars". No, they do NOT. Firstly, the process of mining and creating lithium Ion Batteries alone creates much more carbon emissions than creating ICE vehicles. Not to mention creating the rest of Electric Vehicle such as the body, electronics, tires etc. Then they say that because EVs have 0 carbon emissions, over the lifetime of the vehicle the ICE would catch up to EVs and produce more CO2. The problem with this is that EVs actually do have carbon emissions. EVERY EV station in America runs on electricity generators that use coal or oil to power it. Well that just crippled the entire EV argument. The dark truth is that EVs are easier to control and monitor remotely, and that's why they want all of us to go EV. I do however support any form of biofuel or any fuel that would make ICE cars more efficient, or less "dirty" in terms of CO2 emissions.

Yes, but not too much of it. Fun fact: most of the air we breathe in is nitrogen; around 70%. Only 20% is oxygen. But if that amount that was oxygen was increased by even 10%, we would get oxygen poisoning. Not a joke. Go read up on the studies. But the point is: plants can’t breathe that shit in when there’s too much of it. And when there’s too much of it, it still accumulates in the atmosphere, and it causes the greenhouse effect. None of it is good. CO2 isn’t bad, per se. In fact, it is necessary for life. But as with all other things, too much of it will be detrimental for all life on earth. Maybe educate yourself and read the scientific papers from credible, non-biased sources before you go posting comments on shit you don’t know

@@mrsoisauce9017 Why waste an entire paragraph reiterating the obvious? Of course too much of anything is bad. Humans need water to survive but drowning is a thing. My point - which clearly went over your head is; why is c02 in particular so bad when it makes up a tiny proportion of the atmosphere. Lastly, when attempting to 'educate' something trying being less condescending. ps All sources are biased.
