You need to read more comics because Hal is not a stick in the mud outside of the Green Arrow-Green Lantern series. Since his creation, Hal has been the hot shot pilot who forces his way through life with sheer willpower, it's even gone to toxic levels where he even forces the things he wants on people around him and they resent him for it.

I’m glad that Tom King was friends with Adam’s and felt his guidance while working on Lanterns makes me more excited to see this show!

Bro, this is gonna be the nail in the coffin for DC, if he doesn’t change the script for lanterns, then this is gonna be a shit show. This show does not sound interesting at all. And he’s trying to make lanterns fit into the modern day which means yes it’s gonna be woke bullshit. So thanks, James Gunn when we don’t have a proper interconnected DC universe for another 20 fucking years. Because people like you comment and stuff like this and he sees this type of bullshit and he thinks that this is what fans want instead of looking at the other 1 billion negative comments about the bullshit. He’s trying to do at DC he rather looks at the three good ones And have an ego trip that someone actually likes his ridiculous way of making characters. For chrissake the Superman movie isn’t even really a Superman movie, it’s an ensemble film, which is the only thing that James Gunn has showed us that he is able to produce. He has not shown us that he has the chops for making a film about one particular person.

Super excited for DC/HBO Lanterns series. Love everything Tom King is saying about honoring Neal Adams's work and the development of Lanterns. Can't wait.

Bro, you cannot sit here and tell me that you’re actually excited for a terrestrial based show about Green Lantern, that’s cap big old cap
@adeolaatitebi457528 күн бұрын
@@allyoucansee590 Remember bro, we already went through the extraterrestrial green lantern movie with Ryan Reynolds. And that sucked ass. A lanterns show in space doesn't mean it will be good. The story and characters seem to be what we're getting, and of course I'm sure they'll use their rings. More important, it will also be a HBO original. And HBO more often than not, bats a thousand.

@ bro, that movie didn’t suck ass. The only thing about that movie that sucked ass was that part on earth.
@adeolaatitebi457527 күн бұрын
@@allyoucansee590 Ask Ryan Reynolds whether that movie sucked whether it was on earth or in space. But let me ask you a question bro. Are you saying if the Lanterns series isn't in space, even if the acting, writing, characters and story are bangers, the show will suck?

I really do hope he wants to get Hal right. I also hope that doesn't include killing him. However id like to add that Hal also has a pretty good sense of humor, and is a major womanizer. While he is no-nonsense, Hal is still a great talker and very charismatic. Part of what pisses off so many people that fight against him is that he isn't afraid to run off at the mouth and tell you(or show you) what he thinks about you. That's what makes him so difficult to portray. You need the stoicism and the strong confidence, but you also need the charm and silver tongue. Good luck to Kyle.

Far as I’m concerned Tom King is public enemy number one at DC COMICS. He’s been allowed to ruin many beloved superheroes at this point.

...... You all do know Tom King is a horrible writer and attacks fans
@allyoucansee59028 күн бұрын
Bro, everybody else is in denial because they just want something DC they don’t care who’s behind it until it comes out and it’s bad then they realize oh the guy we got to make this project was actually a horrible writer before we put him on the project. It’s like Bruh this shit makes itself, you have an amazing blueprint in the comics yet you wanna try and change these characters to so-called fit the present day. Bro once I heard that bullshit I said yup they’re gonna ruin Green Lantern.
@allyoucansee59028 күн бұрын
Not gonna lie I see people trying to cope and I see people really really not just coming to terms with what has already been said, but this lantern show is gonna flop hard. Do you know what was the only part or a good part of the reason why people didn’t like the first Green Lantern movie? It’s because a good bit of it took place on earth that was what people was very critical about. You would think that James Gunn would’ve learned from their mistake but instead this idiot doubles down. Now because of them when this shit flops we’re not gonna have another green lantern show for another 15 years.
